Title: As good as an inexpensive wig/beard can get

"I bought the "Merlin Wig & Beard" at the last minute, after an eleventh hour decision to change my Halloween costume plans, and go as a wizard. The wig and beard arrived in a timely fashion, thankfully, and it was a big hit with the crowds at the theme park where I celebrated Halloween. I expected such an affordable product to be of exceptionally low quality--for one night alone, I didn't need it to be that nice--but was pleasantly surprised that neither the wig nor the beard was itchy in the way that cheap, Halloween wigs/beards are typically itchy. I wore both comfortably for hours, and only took them off because, made of synthetic materials, they didn't breathe particularly well and so it became too warm. Given the comfort level and the great look of both the wig and the beard, I don't think you can do better than this without spending a lot more money."

"This wig and beard was just like the picture. It went great with my costume and completed the look. And the price was fabulous! I had rented a wig and beard for a party the week before and it was twice the price and not as nice. I would totally recommend it buycostumes.com."

"I read another review that said their beard was not as long as the picture was showing. It must have been a different offer because both the beard and the wig that we received is identical to the picture. The hair is sewn on to a stretchy type cap making it easy to fit the mustache and everything perfectly in to place. The hair is also cut beneath in a type of a layer giving it more volume. It is not fake and stringy looking. It's really pretty decent looking, like real hair, not cotton and my husband says it fits comfortably which means a lot because if it's too tight, too hot, or in the way, forget it. Nice addition to the costume."
