I ended up purchasing a medium in case and thank god.
The hips fit fine, but the waist and top are very big and I will have to have it altered"

"I'm a size 7 in jeans. I read the previous reviews and so I bought a large. It fit loose on the top portion and just perfect in the hip area. It was also too long (to my knees) but I'm short (5'2). I did not have time to get the dressed altered because I was late in ordering it so I folded two of the layers in and safety pinned it to make it shorter. I also spray painted the safety pins black so they would stand out. I wore it with a Asian wig they sell here and it was great because it was not puffy and I did not have to do anything to it but put it on. I did not like the headband that came with it because it would squeeze the wig and it looked funny so I bought a headband with a flower in it at Claire's. Overally a fun costume to wear."

"I was dying to be a flapper last year and looked all over for a costume. I got this costume, along with the feather boa, fishnets, and wig from this website. The dress was great! It fit just right and I loved all the fringe on it. I was also able to take advantage of the 110% price guarantee. After I bought this costume I found it cheaper on another website. I just emailed buycostumes.com the details and I got the difference refunded to my card, no problem. After buying my costume and accessories here last year, as well as a bunch of party supplies, I'm looking for more stuff for this year."
