"I'm currently 13 years old and I had this costume when I was 3. It was a very warm costume if you put a turttleneck underneath. The downside was that it was very itchy. The costume is a classic though."

"A cheerleader wasn't my 2 1/2 year old daughters first pick...of course she wanted to be a princess or fairy. However she hates the net/mesh material that most costumes made for her size are made of. We came across this one and she fell in love. The material is not itchy at all. It's also rather cool for a long sleeve (seeing as we live in Hawaii). I was also pleasantly surpised with the pompom. I was expecting a cheap flimsy one, but it's full and colorful. It does only come with one, two wouldv'e been nice...but thats okay seeing as her hands will be full with her candy bucket most of the night anyway."

"This is a nice cheerleader costume. The material is a stretchy polyester knit. The trim on the skirt is metallic ribon. The dress is easy to put on - it pulls over the head and ties at the neck. My 2 1/2 year old immediately began running around and jumping. The pom pom is better than expected (and metallic in appearance). We had to pry it out of her hand she liked it so much. I bought the 2-4 size (she normally wears a 3T top and 2T pants). It fits perfectly and she still has room to grow."
