twirling skirt
"I loved this costume except for the fact that I had to add lining to the top. It is very see through. The skirt twirled wonderfully and I had many ask me to stand where there was air blowing up...lol. I would recommend this to anyone who wants to try the Marilyn look alike. It was also very comfortable. I did add a little double stick tape to make sure I didn't expose more than I really wanted to. What fun!"

"I got this dress for my Halloween costume this year... I was the Andy Warhol painting "Lemon Marilyn". It was exactly what I needed to make me recognizably Marilyn, rather than just some pink weirdo. The price was average for this type of dress and I was pleased with the quality as well. It was a little see-thru, but better than others I'd tried at stores. It fits true to the picture, but I'm short, so I hemmed it to look better on me. The dress and a blonde wig made me recognizably Marilyn, but with a nerdy twist. I had a lot of fun in this costume, especially people's faces when I explained it."

"I recently purchased the Marilyn Monroe costume. This costume only included the white dress, but I would have preferred it to come with a wig and shoes as well. The dress looks wonderful and is the closest match to the actual Marilyn Monroe dress that I have seen! It fits perfectly according to the sizes and looks adorable! Everyone that has seen my costume has asked about where I found it and complimented me on how great it looks. I have before and will again suggest this website to friends and family for future costume purchases!"

"I wasn't so sure about this dress. Then I went and tried on a different Marilyn dress at a costume shop. That one felt like it was made of paper and was just horrible!!!
So I went ahead and purchased this one, and wow, it's great! The only thing is it runs REALLY big. So order at least one size smaller than you think you need."

"I bought this dress for a costume party. When it first arrived, I was a little disappointed in the quality. I had to have a liner sewn in because it was so sheer, and I also had to wear a halter top underneath. But it is only a costume, and once I wore it, I had a blast in it! It was very comfortable and I pulled off Marilyn perfectly, or so everyone said!"

"This was a great costumes I had nothing but complements all night long! It was very easy to move around in and very comfertable, it is not made with spandex material! The dress could have been a little tighter on me, so really consider getting the smaller size then you would usually get!"

"What a pleasant surprise!!!! I was so happy when I received my costume. It fit true to size, it was much higher quality than store bought costumes...and best of all it was reasonably priced!!! "Because it's so flowy, be careful of the sizing. The medium fits a 5'7, 36C girl extremely well, although she can't mind that it is VERY sexy (breasts covered, but pretty visible from the sides. If you're ok with, or looking for, that effect, you'll be thrilled with the dress. Not for the overly modest. On a girl with smaller size breasts, it might not quite fit right without tying it very tight behind the neck."
