"This sword is a cute accessory to a pirate costume and is cheap for a one-night dress-up, but it's pretty flimsy and not very detailed. There's another sword out there for a couple dollars more that is much cuter and more authentic-looking."

"The sword looks great out of the box. But, after playing with it for a little bit, my 3 year old son found that the blade was pretty easy to pull out from the handle. The thing kept coming undone. Plus, the paint on the sword itself started to peal off after just a week.

My son still played with it but I thought it should have held up better."

"It would have been nicer if it didn't come with a paint blemish on the side of the blade (see pictures) but overall, this is a pretty nice sword! it complimented my pirate costume. the handle gives you a good grip. its not flimsy, but you have to be careful not to hit people too hard with it or it will hurt! :P"

"The sword is worth it's price. The coloring and shape is good, for plastic. It looks neat. However, the blade itself is a tiny bit wobbly where it sticks out from the handle. But that doesn't seem to be a problem."
