"These glasses completely exceeded my expectations. They have a metal frame and the lenses themselves don't seem like plastic, but more like glass. Wonderful. Very realistic looking. Though the lenses themselves are quite large, they add that little "dorky" edge to a costume. Very cute."

"This is our 3rd pair of Harry Potter glasses (in as many months). These hold together the best, but are still very easy for a younger witch/wizard to snap. Even with careful "play" they break easily. If it is meant as a prop for one or two events, they are great. If, however, they are being used for more regular dress-up/play, they break pretty easily (my 5 year old daughter was trying her hardest to be careful)."

"The kids loved these glasses. We did not get them as part of a costume, but becuase they wanted to be like Harry Potter. The kids look so dorky in them, which is cute. They are good quality, our kids our young so I don't know how long they will survive. Actually the dog already went through one pair... but overall, they are perfect for the kids!"

"Since glasses are something that can get broken so easily, my expectations were not too high for this item. As anticipated, the first or second time my 6-year-old put them on, he managed to bend the frame and was very upset when, as a result, they no longer folded properly. However, the kid's look very Harry Potter-ish with the round spectacles! And, for the price, I wasn't overly concerned that the frame didn't stay intact. Once the initial frustration wore off, my son returned to using them and they have otherwise held up fine."

"These frames stretch a bit to fit many face sizes. They are not as powerful as the black plastic ones in photographs, but will fit more sizes of faces.
