"I agree that something was needed to make the ends of the banana stand out. I wore a hat so that my face would sit right with the face hole, but as previously mentioned, the balloon idea sounds pretty rockin'. I'll do that next time. Kids came up to me all night wanting to touch the banana. You can't have too many non-scary costumes when it's a kids party! And be the lame adult who is a banana at an adult party and stand out as a dork! Went very well with my husband going as a gorilla."

"This costume is a risk-free, goofy, please everyone, don't offend anyone way to go.
That said, you have to stuff it yourself (and some stuffing will likely fall out while you're wearing it. Also the cut around the face isn't lined/stitched (like the arm-holes are) so the top of the face-hole started to stretch and tear almost immediately.
But, all-in-all, I don't think I would've ordered anything different. It was a fun and funny way to go."

"We really like this costume, but it definitely needed to be padded in the ends (it said to do it on the package, so no surprise). It is really cute with the gorilla costume on my son, a banana carrying a gorilla....so funny!"
"If you want something silly or easy to wear on Halloween while following around your kids - become a banana! You might need a little help getting into it because the material wants to grab onto your clothes, but the costume is comfortable, affordable, and quite warm. I actually wore a t-shirt instead of a longsleeve shirt. To get the tips to stick out, you just fill them with crinkled tissue paper or newspaper. There is no zipper or snaps to deal with. It is also easy to use the washroom! My only problem was that my son would tug on the bottom and it caused the banana to tear a little below my chin. I would definitely recommend this costume though."

"I wore this for my son's 1st Halloween (he was a monkey) and it was too cute! The quality could have been a bit better but I can't complain as it looked great.
I recommend using balloons to fill the tips of the banana - I did and they worked great and stayed in place all night.
I also think it looks best when worn with something black under it (long sleeve tee and pants)."

"The banana costume is hilarious, albeit a bit pricey for the quality of product. The fabric is thin, but this is a good thing as my husband will wear it for Halloween. He's a middle school teacher and I'm sure the kids will love this. Unique. Thin, but comfortable. Good fit, with room to move. Agree with other comment about the face cut-out. Could use some reinforcement similar to arm cutouts. Overall a great costume!"

"The banana costume I bought is fantastic. The only problem is with the face hole. There is stitching around the arm holes to keep it from ripping but not around the face hole so after a few uses there are noticable stretches / rips. A quick stitch like the ones around the arm holes would fix this problem."
"I bought this for my daughter, who is 13. She and her friends have ordered this costume so they can be a "Bunch of Bananas" for Halloween. She's been putting it on every day and going outside just to make the neighbors laugh."

Dancing with the Cheerleaders
"I ordered two of these banana costumes (one for myself and another for a friend) to wear for a football game. We wanted them because they looked fun and were one of our school colors (our colors are crimson and gold). Turns out, everyone loved us and now we wear them every week!"

"My friend ordered this and wore it for Halloween. It was great. With a little bit of tissue to 'perk' the ends up, she looked like a Banana. We added a 'Dole' sticker to her front and a 'Chiquita' one to her back. Great fun. Wear the black turtle neck and pants for best effect. Very roomy."

"For the money, this costume is pretty good. It does have wrinkles from being folded in the package, but the instructions claim I can steam them out (we'll see). The one problem seems to be that it wants to slip down over my eyes and down my arms, but I think if I ball up some newspaper (like the directions say) and put it in the top, it will fluff it up."
