"I bought this outfit two years ago, and I quite adore it. I am a size 8-10, and it fits pretty well. I have a really long waist so the elastic/tie back hits me higher than I would prefer, but it's not something that is a deal breaker. My cape does tie, but it falls off my shoulders, uncomfortably putting the weight on my throat. I wore this to work on Halloween last year, where I am a medical assistant running all over the place for 8 hours, and I won first place in the costume contest! I have not had the problems with ripping as others have stated, although the skirt is of a lower quality fabric. I will keep it until it rips, as it is a great looking costume, but I am looking for something different for this year..."

"This costume is just plain great! It's true to size. I'm 5'4"/140 lbs. I wear a size 8-10 and it fits perfectly right out of the bag. It's so flattering I can't wait to wear it! Now, The hood/ cape does NOT tie infront-It has a little piece of round velcro instead. I will sew on some ribbon. It's a pull over dress, great quality material, The apron is sewn on. The dress has a tie back that makes it fit even better HOWEVER the tie is white- as if it's supposed to go with the apron, but the ties are sewn higher, below the ribcage, and much higher than the apron, so they couldn't possibly even be mistaken for apron ties. I felt like someone said, "this costume is too perfect, let's mess with it." It really could have been the most perfect Riding Hood costume, if it were not for those two things that can be fixed... I just hate sewing.LOL."

"I loved this costume. I wore it to work Halloween, and it was a major hit. All the girls who work at my office were story book characters, and I chose this costume as soon as I saw it. I paired it with some black leggings, since it was cool outside, sexy heels, and some deep make-up and it was perfect. I had a great time, and it was very comfortable. I'm tall, 5'11 to be exact, and it was still a great length. I'm small in the waist and chest, so it was a little baggy with the standard size, but it still was flattering to my body. Whoever orders this costume, will surely enjoy it..."

"this was a very cute costume, however as I have seen in previous reviews, the waist did fit fairly high up, especially if you actually have a bust. the skirt material was not thin however, and it was comfortable to wear. The cape velcro did dig into my neck, but this could have been resolved if I trimmed the velcro down. All in all it was a fun costume, although it did not fit well over my chest."

"The fit wasn't that bad, but definitely not as perfect as pictured. The cape doesn't tie up as pictured, but has a little piece of valcro instead. It is no where close to being knee-length. The tie up in the back of the dress is way too high, and the skirt is made of really cheap see-thru material. Although the size states as one size fits most...I would suggest this outfit for women ranging in sizes 6-10."

"I took it out of the package, tried it on. I took it off, brought it to my boyfriend's house 2 hours later, put it on and discovered that the seems had almost all COMPLETELY shredded, including in areas that were completely loose on me. "I do not recommend this costume. It looks better in the photo. I immediately decided to return it after I got it. The fabric is very fimsy (especially the cape). The cape has no string tie like the photo. It's velcro.

"The quality was what I expected for the price. I like the look of it and it worked well for me. It would be better if the fit was better, but it is a "one size fits most" after all I'm 5' 8" and the costume was a little short on me and slightly tight, but it stretched well without looking bad. The majority of the costume is made well with good material; Although the skirt was a little disappointing. The skirt is made of a very thin and light material (felt like a slip), cotton or the rayon/ nylon mix would have been better. There were small things that could have been better, but overall I enjoyed wearing it, it arrived in the mail in a timely manner, The design is good, and was a fun costume to wear and play the part of "little red riding hood"; Still waiting to meet "Mr. Big Bad Wolf" LOL."

"this didn't work for me. the material is not good quality: the cape was a thin crushed velvet, and the dress was flimsy and see-through. to make this costume work, you really need a thick strong cape, otherwise there is no "hood" in little red riding hood."

"The entire skirt portion of the outfit was terrible material. It was ripped at one seam when I received it, and it is not the kind of material you can sew. i fixed it really quick with some duct tape, but throughout the night i wore it, the seams ripped further and further. the top and cape were fine."

"The idea of this costume is cute, it is subtly sexy yet not over the top. I felt comfortably covered while at a Catholic school carnival. However, the skirt is very poor quality (both fabric and sewing). Although it was not ripped when taken out of the package and washed, it ripped in 3 places with minimal movement within hours. The cape and hood is NOT what is on the photo. The photo looks like velour and has a tie. The one enclosed was a flimsy red tablecloth with a velcro dot closure. I ended up making my own hood. The costume arrived promptly, and I would have been happier with the price if the cape and hood would have been as pictured. The size also seemed on the small side; I wear a size 8, sometimes a 10, and it fit me well. I wore it and might try to repair the skirt. I didn't expect a couture piece but this costume could have been much better quality."

"I was excited when I received the costume because a couple of the reviews I read were not too favorable. I am a preschool teacher and wanted a storybook costume that was not showy. I had only worn the costume for about 5 hours and noticed that the skirt was coming apart (shredding) at the seams. I had been very careful with the costume because I also planned to wear it during the evening to go trick or treating with my grandson. The fabric on the skirt is soo thin it is impossible to even mend it."
