An official Disney Sleeping Beauty product. Features a Black plastic staff with claw top, Yellow orb and Black crow. Staff comes apart for easy storage (still attached by elastic piece). Measure approximately 48" long when completely assembled.

"Like others have said, the paint job leaves something to be desired but unless you're going to be in a well-lit party - it probably won't matter much. Yes, the staff portion is flimsy but I'll solve that problem with a little black duct tape. Voila! Problem solved. Despite its issues, this is still a fun accessory for the Maleficent costume."

Title: buyer beware Date: October 20, 2009
"The warning "this product my look different than one shown" is an understatement. The collapsible post is flimsly and needs to be glued together or it falls apart. The paint job is very poor and wrong colors, so I will be repainting the entire thing since the eyes are painted on the backside of the eye and not the front.Very large white stripes on the orb so it looks like a tennis ball. Not what I expected."

Title: A bit less than anticipated Date: October 19, 2009
"The staff LOOKS amazing paired with the costume, however, don't get too close or you'll see the poor quality. It comes in two pieces but if you can recall those childhood magic wands that come apart in 3 pieces, that is how this staff is made. It's connected by a thin elastic and then you slide a slightly larger piece over the connecting parts to make it stay but it doesn't work. On the day you need it I would suggest using electrical tape (because it's black) to tape it in place. You can always remove it later for the "easy" storage. You definitely need this piece though to add to your ensemble and its tag says Disney Licensed."

"So, this is a must have for the Maleficent costume. The quality is not the greatest though. The staff comes in 2 pieces that have to be inserted into one another but it doesn't stay together, so we had to use some rubber cement on the inside to keep it from coming apart. Now it has to stay together forever which eliminates the "easy storage" sell. The other problem is that it looks very plastic not soft and velvety like the picture shows. It's a cool prop though, that gives a wow effect to the Maleficent costume."

"If you purchase the costume - you MUST get this prop!
It looks great with it (and was also good for corralling the kids!)
I had read the reviews on this item - so I was not disappointed at all.
(The reduction in price was also I great incentive!)

I wasn’t sure how the handle part would hold up with my grandsons and the trick-or-treat trail - so I substituted a black broomstick for the 3-piece plastic handle. It worked perfectly."

"i can´t belive how awful this is, it´s looks completly different from the one it`s shown, actually I was so disapointed that i decide to re painted myself, I could´nt returned because i live overseas, so I have to shipped over to my mom´s house in Fla, and she shipped to me so I bought it a month ago and i just received, after i re painted it actually looks pretty good compare with the original, the colors are very poor and it looks very poor made..."

"This really does compliment the Maleficent or Magnificent costumes, however it arrived today and doesn't look anything like the picture. It is much more cheap looking, and has black streaks in the pink part around the eyes and on the beak - it also looks like it was hastily put together with a glue gun; the crow and the yellow ball with feet were originally 2 pieces (or they broke and it was sloppily fixed - not sure). The staff itself is very wobbly, and doesn't hold together well, so I'll have to glue it. I also found it quite pricey for what you get - I"ve seen better quality Halloween staffs at the dollar store. All in all I was disappointed, but at the same time there isn't anywhere else around that I can find this particular staff to go with the costume. They really do look good together, though."
