"I thought it would be pretty long on me (I'm 5'4) but I was so wrong. It is VERY short. It ended right below my tush :P I have no petticoat, just fishnet tights. I highly recommend buying either, or just putting a pair of comfy bootyshorts underneath. DO NOT BUY if you have a confidence issue with weight, or something. This isn't the type of costume that makes you look thin. It's cute, though ^^ so if you wanna try it out, then I'd say go for it. You'll definitely get a lot of attention, no matter what size."

"The french maid costume was okay but although not custome fit, the dress wasn't the same fit as the picture on my petite wife. Even though she's a small, the dress came down far too low to be sexy so we tried to cut the white undergarment and restitch it but it was a disaster. We did this the night before the party when we got it and only had the following morning and afternoon to take it to a seamstress to repair. She did a great job and although only a little of the white undergarment was visible, it was much sexier at the new length. So just be careful if you're not long legged. Other then that, she liked the costume."

"The costume itself was cute. I normally am a Large or XL, and this Large costume actually is baggy on me around the top. Along with the bagginess, the dress comes down below my knees, which is fine if I am wearing this costume to a work function or family function, but does not work for the costume party I intended on wearing this to. The Material is nice. The velvet is soft and not itchy like many. It is a nice costume all in all, but buy a size down, otherwise you might have the bagginess to deal with."

"A good buy for the money, nicely made. I would buy it a size smaller then you normally wear. I bought the small and it fits a little big, but easy to fix with some pins.. Also i was really worried about the length being way too short, but its not as short as pictured. I can't wait to wear it!"
