"I ordered this costume for Halloween 2009. I'm 5'6", 125-130 lbs., I generally wear size 4 jeans and I'm a 34B. I ordered the small.

This costume fit decently well. The bottom was a little loose around my waist so it was a bit droopy, but with a few safety pins I was able to fix that - and the waist sash hid all alterations! The top also fit decently well. I don't have a huge bust so I felt like I had to lace the corset strings a little tighter than what's intended for the costume, but it worked.

The quality is not bad for what you pay (I paid ~$33) but I don't think this costume will last more than 4-5 wearings - oh well, it's a costume, I don't need it to last that long!

On fun factor, this is a VERY fun costume. You don't look "overdone" like you're putting in wayyyy too much effort. And it's very comfortable! The price can't be beat."

"I'm living in the US for one year so I was looking for a cheap and flimsy costume that I can take home with me in my suitcase after my year here. And I think I found the perfect one!! The pirate costume was delivered earlier than expected. The skirt fit really good only the top slid always up when I moved but I just wore a black tank top underneath it and that was ok. I really like it and I got some nice compliments for it! Instead of the headband I used something else because I thought the black band was a bit boring. The only thing that isn't good is the quality.. I wore it twice and you can already see a lot of loose threads."

"This is a fun and sexy, but not too sexy, costume. With a little imagination you can build upon the different pieces and parts to make your costume more unique. Hand washing is recommended if you want it to survice many wears. Pic is from a pirate invasion at the Pirates of the Carribean premiere at a drive-in theater."

"I am 5'3" and fit between a size 3 to 5, and the small size fit me well. Because of the design and material, it would definitely fit someone a little larger as well, as the sizing suggests. Very cute - I got lots of compliments on it, and I must say that of all of the female pirate costumes that I saw that year and the subsequent year, I thought mine was the best! Great price for a costume, and shipping was on the early side of the expected span of dates."

"I wanted the best halloween costume for this year and decided to look online. I spent hours and hours reading reviews which I found them very useful. I finally made the wisest decision when I ordered this costume. For the price, look and fit, it's great. I wore at work, and in the night with my children; got lots of compliments and surprisinly also jealousy from female co-workers... hahaha Won the second place in a contest (look at the pictures and you will see why I couldn't beat the winner). My costume was delivered fast, and it fit me right. The quality is not the best, but the look is so good that it does not appear cheap at all. I wore a wig at work. I would definitely recommend it."

"amazingly fast shipping - was here within four days of order, even with it being so close to halloween. it fit me pretty well...the corset top can be adjusted easily to the width of your torso. the skirt was pretty long, but i just took some scissors to it and it looks just fine.

the only problem i had was the quality...granted, all halloween costumes are cheaply made, but mine fell apart before it was even on my body. the elastic came unstitched at the neckline so i sewed that back up and superglued the bad stitching on the skirt that was coming unhemmed.

otherwise, great costume!! the only thing i added was some fishnets and then cut some holes in them. cant wait for halloween!!!"

"This was a comfortable (extremely important to me), well-made costume. It looked good, although I wish I had gotten a smaller size. The only problem I had with it was that the top kept rising up and I had to keep pulling it down. The skirt was too long which I had to roll up (I'm 5'0), but the striped belt helped with covering that up."

"This is an excellent costume for the money. All the pieces were as pictured and it is true to size. One of the features I like about this costume is that you can adjust it to expose as little or as much skin as you want; when trick or treating with the kids, just pull the blouse up over the shoulders, tie the scarf so that it covers the midriff, and put on some leggings. For a sexier look, where the costume as pictured!"

"This costume is great! although the skirt was somewhat thin.
the top was m-azing I loved the sleeves and how it all peiced together!
I wore this for halloween and then the following summer for the first showing of pirates of the caribbean 3. (didnt wear the skirt just tied the scarf around some jeans)
All in all for the price this is a good buy!"
