"I wanted a costume that was sexy, but not too over the top. This was perfect. Being a little on the heavy side, I loved the longer skirt. The underskirt was a bit itchy, but put a slip on and it's no problem. The vest is a little flimsy, but overall this was a great costume. Paired with the Captain's costume it was perfect!!!!"

"I tried the medium and large size and found that neither fit well. The bodice on both dresses was too small. I found the velvet skirt and crinolin slip were not flattering. "A great value, good quality costume, the only issue was the vest fitted rather small (I bought the large size) might be a problem if you have a large bust, I solved the problem by lacing it loosely & only part way. everything else was great & comfortable to wear. "I found that the dress wasn't the easiest to put on. The lace up black vest was hard to relace. The quality of the laces were substandard. The bejeweled choker doesn't sit well once you put it on. You can't see the 'jewels'. The complete outfit was of good quality and beautiful. Overall, it is a fun, costume, once you can get it on."

A Perfect Pirate Wench
"I usually make all my costumes but ran a little short on time this year. As you can see from photo I did embellish this costume slightly. I purchased lace trim for the petticoat because I thought it needed a little something more & also added gold coin trim to the skirt scarf for a little jingle. I also added beads to the ends of the ties on the corset. As far as sizing, I did size up when ordering which turned out to be completely unneccessary as I ended up having to take in a few pieces. Just be sure to measure yourself & follow the sizing guide on the website. This costume turned out awesome & I had many compliments. It would be fine without the added embellisments; I just wanted to add my own touch. Will definitely order from this company in the future!!"

"Absolutely excellent costume. I bought it three years ago and it still fits perfectly fine. Exactly the same as it looks, nothing is opted out and everything was in good shape. Excellent quality of the fabric. I've worn it every year since to the Reniassance Faire with the addition of my own accessories, and it's very, very impressive; people always thought I worked there, and even asked for pictures of me. Only downsides are the price (I got it at full), and the itchiness of the underskirt - you have to wear a slip otherwise it gets unbearable. Overall excellent costume! I haven't regretted buying it once, and it's served me very well. Definite recommendation."

"Ah, me matey; just the right costume for a fun Halloween evening to come! Impressed with fabric and overall look. Just as pictured and even better. Being 6ft tall, this comes to below my knees and with a pin to "hike up" by one leg, the costume becomes a bit sexy as pictured. Buy size above what you normally wear and it should fit you. I added wench wig and fishnets and my own boot shoes. GREAT look! Have Fun!"
