Title: Wrong color! Date: September 23, 2009
"I also ignored the reviews that claimed this tie is the wrong color--I figured if the color was slightly off nobody would notice. It arrived and guess what? Yes, it is definitely purple and no, it doesn't come close to matching the crimson lining of the costume. The quality is great and it is definitely better looking than the economy tie, but because it clashes with the robe I opted to exchange it."

Title: IT IS PURPLE!!! Date: September 18, 2009
"BEWARE!!!! Like some of the others I ignored some of the other reviews because my daughter wanted the official tie with the crest and not the cheap knock off. I wish I had just bought the cheap tie! It is VERY PURPLE!!! Love my daughter, who at 9, said it wasn't what she had hoped but would wear it anyways. She said no one would be able to tell since it would mostly be covered by her robe. (I also bought the premium robe and she LOVES it.) Don't waste your money!"

Title: What a let down! Date: October 29, 2007
"This tie Purple! Purple! Purple! Not RED or MAROON as so much of the Harry Potter merchandise is. Now my daughter is stuck as a tie-less Hermione Granger this Halloween because there is no time to order the cheapy tie offered on this sight. I should have just went with the cheap one to begin with. Now I'm out the cost of shipping the Lame thing back. DO NOT RECCOMEND!!!"
