"I rated this lower on quality, but still average. It really comes down to your Harry Potter fan's expectations. My son loved the prop because...Harry had to have his Hedwig! But, it would have been nicer had it been easier to pose on his shoulder, and had it been made of softer materials. As for the price, well, it made my son happy to complete his costume with Hedwig, so it wasn't an issue in the end. But deciding to order this - at first - caused an internal debate. We had a great Halloween, though. My kids were so pleased to look "just like" Harry and Hermione."

"The Harry Potter Prop Hedwig the owl looks very nice. However, it has an awful smell to it. It smells like bad cheese. I can't go near it without gagging!!!!!! The prop also feels like it could fall apart very easily."
