"This is one of the few plus size 'saloon' costumes out there. I wear a size 2x and knew that this would be a stretch to the maximum size. The corset is too small to fit around me, so I plan to extend it with some added material and velcro. The arms are a little tight in the shoulders and the apron is not as full as the photo shows. Overall, considering all of the accessories that are included, the costume is a good value for the price."

"This costume looks great and has a decent price. The only real downfall to it is the fact the the back of the skirt (the purple part) is "see through". Luckily I had a pair of black "sliders" (spandex shorts) that I could wear underneath it. The picture online doesn't do it justice. It's a very bright purple with shimmer."
"The Lady Maverick fit terrible it wasnt proportioned right anywear, the description stated it had front sheer skirt and sleeves. The entire outfit was sheer!! The lace up corset looked cheap and wouldn't stay in place. The bow on the back was too heavy and just sagged it didn't even look like a bow. No matter what I did I could not make this outfit work for me. I talked to someone else who ordered it and they felt the same way I did."

"Don't get me wrong, I absolutely loved the outfit, and would buy it again. It is a totally hot outfit in purple & black! The arms were a little tight, but hey I’m a big girl, of course letting them out was pain, but I got that done fine. Ok lets get to the quality... fortunately I tried on the outfit a few times before I wore it out of the house which enabled me to fix these items that failed: one of the feathers fell off the hat, the corset stays poked through the velvet corset and had to be re-sewn and hot glued, one of the finger holders on the glovett broke. If these items had failed while out partying, I would have looked ridiculous. So my suggestion, try these on a few times, where it around the house, sit down, get up, go to the bathroom, find out what’s going to fail and fix it."

"I had lots of fun on Halloween in that outfit at a ballroom dance and look forward to next year!! I was disappointed that the manufacturer made such dramatic changes in the costume. It was made fine and all parts were present. but the drama of the sleeves were completely changed to a form fitted sleeve."

You can see through the top as if you have nothing on, the sleeves do not fit or even really look like the picture and the "corset" looks nothing like the picture that shows the lady maverick all held up by the corset. The one you receive could never hold up plus size breasts. Sorry it just wouldn't."

"I was so excited to get my costume, but was very disappointed. The only piece of the costume I liked were the gloves. The pictures shows puffy sleeves; the sleeve were so tight, there was no puff at all except where the elastics were cutting off my circulation. And my arms are not big. I could have worn it for maybe 5 minutes. The material was so sheer and cheap, the feathers on my hat were 2 inches not 14 inches like shown in the picture. I returned this as soon as I could."
"This is, without a doubt, the worst costume I have EVER purchased. Do not know what the manufactur change was, but this is a worthliess piece of junk. It is see-through, the materail is poor quality, doesn't fit anything like the picture, and the corset is a worthless piece of felt? like material, that may lace, but is velcro in the back that doesn't hold very well. I wear a size 18 in most things and there is NO WAY I could try to wear this costume. The only part of this costume with any quality at all, is the glovelets. The plume is about 2 inches above the hat (if you want to call it a hat), and will not stand no matter what I do to it -- not that it matters as I will not be wearing this costume. If you are a plus size woman w/ any bust at all, trust me when I say this is not the costume for you. I will continue to shop BuyCostumes.com because I have purchased other costumes that were fine and I trust this will be the case for future purchases."
"we are having a saloon theme at work this year for halloween and i was excited to find this costume. however, DONT be fooled by the picture. the costume is inappropriately see through in the back (and undergarments will show) and the material is awful. the headpiece is completely different and the corset top on the model is NOT AT ALL what you get. you actually get a cheaply made strip of velour-ish material that velcros in the back, and the velcro snags the material terribly. dont see how i am going to wear this to work. the way i can see to make it work would be to buy a completely different corset top. also as far as size goes, i am a 16 and i dont see how in the world anyone over maybe an 18 could possibly make this costume work. take heed- save your money or try another costume. i am definitely disappointed."

"I am not an evenly proportioned woman, and I ama Plus size...I think the costume could use some more work...It does not lay as I thought it would an d the elastic in the arms was a bit tighter than it should be...I like to look sexy as possibleand tis costume just did not do justice for a big womans figure..Sorry to say...I found another costume that I liked and it fit perfectly. "The product is not as shown. The material is real cheap. As the other feedbacks state the bottom "purple" material is very sheer will need to wear something under so my backside doesn't show. The apron does not pucker and hang as shown. The sleeves are not puffy. The elastic is very tight on the top of the arms. The neck is very wide. Will probably keep falling off my shoulders when I wear it to the party unless I return it. The corset is flimsy will need to add some underwire to help support the bust. The feather is maybe 2 inches long on the head piece. The color is more magenta than purple on the bottom back part."

"There were many things about this costume that was a disappointment. I purchased the size 22 to 24 The size was not true… I am a small size 22 and it was too tight to wear. The cut was not like that shown in the picture. The sleeves are closer fitting with hardly any puff to them. The fringe on the skirt was almost non existent. The purple fabric that is the entire back is more transparent than most lingerie on the market."

"I wore this dress as my wedding dress... We did an old west theme, The dress was a better quality than I thought. There was only a couple of alterations that had to be done to the dress they are as follows. The back panel of the dress is very shear, so I sewed a black slip on the inside, it covered and looked very nice. The corset is made with thin material in the back had to safety pin it in place. But it was the best, I was very happy with it. great costume or Wedding dress :)"
