High Seas Piratess Adult Costume

Includes peasant sleeve pirate shirt with attached faux leather vest, striped skirt, belt, pirate bandana, distressed leather-look boot tops and matching pirate hat. Pair with the High Seas Pirate for the perfect pirate couples... the his & hers match! Available in Adult sizes Small/Medium (2-8) and Medium/Large (8-14). Fishnet pantyhose and sword (differs from shown) sold separately. Manufacturer's suggested washing instructions included. Please Note: It has been brought to our attention that the belt is running small. The belt is a non-functioning decoration, it does not hold the costume together. We appreciate your understanding.

"I was very pleased with the outfit when I received it.The only thing I would recommend is wearing either pants or another skirt underneath, its a little short and see through. I received a lot of compliments. This is the second time that I have used this company and would highly recommend to friends."

"The costume does not look like in the picture. The vest and skirt look really cheap and do not even have sewn seams. The hat looks okay and is not too small for those of us who wear a small but have average size heads."

"This costume was on sale for $24.99, I would not pay anymore beyond that. The cloth is very sheer polyester material so I'll be pairing black pants underneath. I will be using my own belt that has an area to put my sword because the belt that came with it did not fit, and doesn't stay in place. Be cautious, if you're anywhere near busty, the top part of the dress would not fit you like on the model. I can't achieve the wrinkled look on the neckline area so I'll be using some heavy pirate looking jewelry to cover that up. The hat needed to be ironed out, and is flimsy, but it's nice that it matches the whole outfit. You do get what you pay for and this works out good to take the kids trick or treating."

Title: this costume got lots of complements Date: October 15, 2007
"I wore this costume a few years ago when the 1st pirates movie came out. It was comfortable and i will use it again. the top half is made real well the skirt is out of that thin material that they use on little kids super hero costumes and simple witch costumes, that thin kind of nylon materal tends to run. I try to stay away from that fabric but i never had any problems with the skirt. The boots come with the costume and they just go over your shoes so you don't have to buy boots which is nice. there is a little strap that fits over your shoe so the boot stays put and you can't see it unless you turn your shoe upside down and look at the sole. I wore a pair of dr. martins underneath the pirate boot and it worked well. So i would recomind a shoe that is the shape of dr. martin. I think for the price, quailty & comfort this costume is a good choice."
