"My son loves harry potter. This robe will make his costume authentic. It is on the longer side. My son is 5'3" and it fits him perfectly. If he were any shorter, it would have to be hemmed. It is nicely made. It will hold up nicely for years of dress up. I got him the glasses and tie to complete the costume. Great costume."

"This robe is a great accessory to your Harry Potter ensemble but if you're short, like myself, then beware that it might run a little too long. I'm 5'3" and it trails slightly on the ground. Not a big deal...but if you're shorter than I it could be an issue if getting it hemmed isn't in your plans."

"I was disappointed with the quality of this robe. My daughter's is a fabulous, thick fleece fabric. This is thin, see through (with a white shirt on) and flimsy. The price is an indicator.

I would have paid more for a nicer quality robe. My husband is an average-built 6'0" guy, and it barely closed in the front. Length is "okay"."

"This cheap version of the Harry Potter Gryffindor school robes is great for Harry Potter fans on a budget. Made of a lighter material than the heavier full robes, it still looks great and authentic. It has a few loose threads, but that's quickly solved with a pair of scissors. It also comes with a detachable clasp. Overall, this is a great product and gives itself to many hours of fun dressing up without the excessive price tag. Just hope they get round to making versions for the other three houses! I'll definitely be buying!"

"Overall, this robe does the trick. I wore it to a costume party and there was no question that I was dressed up as Harry Potter. The robe is made of your usual costume material, and isn't the highest quality fabric. I wouldn't expect it to hold up for years and years, but for one or two nights a year, it's just enough. The only other downside is that the color in the picture is misleading. The lining of the hood (the hood is the only lined part) is kind of a dark mauve color. Paired with a tie, glasses, a scar and a wand, I don't think it made a difference."

"The fabric is thin and cheap, but serviceable. It's the only Hogwarts robe I could find in an adult size however. I'm using it for a child who is 5ft2in and it just drags on the ground by an inch or two. The red color is darker than in the picture, FYI."
