"This was really cute costume I saw no other Frankensteins. I always like for my son to have a out of the ordinary halloween costume. I have two negative comments about the costume 1) in the photo it looks like it zips up and it is actually a pull over this would have been nice to know up front because my son has a big head and it was quite a bit of a tussle to get him in this part of the costume. 2) When I took it out of the bag the patches were already peeling of. This was not a cheap costume and they could have made sure it was a little studier. Other than those small issues my son loved being Frankenstein. And it was a good costume for the most part.

"I was so excited when I opened the package. I loved everything inside the package. When I pulled out the Frankenstein costume I loved it! It was perfect size for my grandson. It was so soft and light I am sure he is going to be very comfortable in it. Can't wait to go and give it to him. I just hope he allows his parents to put it on. He is turning 2 and he can be a little bossy! I hope We get to have a Little Frankenstein this Halloween! For sure we will purchase more costumes in the future. We also order some other accessories that were awesome."

"This costume is so cute. My son loved it. The material is soft and warm. The shoe covers definitely complete the costume. My son is three years old and does not like to be restricted in clothing. This costume did not seem to constrict him at all."

Title: Cute, but very different from the picture

"The quality is not nearly as good as the picture suggests. It's obviously made much more cheaply now. It's still very cute and comfortable and can be worn under clothes. I'm not returning it but I did think about it. The costumes I've gotten from Old Navy in the past were much much better quality."

"The costume was awesome. My son loved wearing it. The head piece was a little too big for him but then again he is only 21 months and the cosume he wore was 2T-4T. It was shipped quickly and I plan on buying from this site again next halloween."

Title: Cute but not what I expected

"I purchased my son and daughter's costumes on buycostumes.com recently. I was very delighted with my daughter's costume (the storybook witch). However, when I saw my son's costume (Little Frankie), I must say I was somewhat disppointed. The costume is cute but the quality was not what I expected from seeing the picture on-line. I was most disappointed in the headpiece. It is very flimsy and quite large around the face. I am definately going to have to bring it in around the face and possibly stuff the head in order for it to stay up and fit correctly. It is definately cute enough to make do but I wish the picture on-line was a little more like the product received."

Title: Very cute costume

"I will prelude my review with "I was less disappointed with this costume than any previous costumes". Typically, they have the picture with the cute kid and a costume that has been tailored to fit the kid perfectly in every way...then you get yours and are horribly disappointed because it looks NOTHING like what you saw in the picture. In fact, when comparing the picture to your product you usually can see where they are even made differently. This is a cute costume, yes it is slightly different than shown but not so drastically that it ruins the costume. Very cute, very comfy AND nice that they can wear clothes underneath if it is cold outside that night, or just wear the costume if it is warm...so VERY versatile. The little shoe covers that look like boots are GREAT. The only disappointment is that the hood (head) is made of such flimsy fabric that it does not stand up as shown in the pic. I may try to stuff mine with cotton or something to see if I can make it look more like the picture. All in all though...very nice costume and you won't feel like you paid $60 for something that looks nothing like the picture."
