"My son was so excited to get his costume!! And it was worth it! He was excited to put it on and wear it! The quality was great! We bought the smaller size and it was a little short, but with black pants underneath it was perfect!! We didn't have to worry about him tripping on it!! I would highly recommend this costume! And the purchase process was great! The costumes arrived so fast!!
This is the second time we have purchased coostumes here, and will look here first every year!!"

"I purchased this costume for my 8 year old son, who is not the biggest Harry Potter fan, but loved how scary it looked. I liked it because it was not so gory that he couldn't wear it to school, but satisfied his "dark side."

The mask was mishapen on arrival and the chest piece came unsewn a few times. Easy to fix, but slightly irritating.

The price is right, especially compared to the over priced party stores in our area."

"Glad i bought this costume thru buycostumes.com. My son couldnt figure out what he wanted to be till the last min. So we went online and found this site, and he found what he wanted. Even thou it was 2 days before halloween we bought it and it arrived the next day. They quailty was good and my son loved it. He ran around with it on all night. :)"

"The ordering process was easy and the costume arrived at our door within just a few days, which was awesome! However, the chest piece fell off after less than 2 hours of trick-or-treating - and we were just walking around (no running, pushing, fighting, etc.). There is no reason for the costume to have fallen apart so quickly, other than apparently it was very poorly made."

"This was a good costume with the only issue being the size of the mask. It was a childs costume, but the mask was rather large so we had to modify the eye openings. Other than that it was a good costume. Quality fabric, not a plastic costume that tears the first time it's worn."

"My son really enjoyed this costume until he pulled the fake ribs off while trying to get it off. Easily fixed but pretty cheaply made for the price. It was definitely a light costume to wear which was nice for warmer climates. The price was the least expensive that I could find on the web. He won scarest costume at a Halloween party."

"This is what my 11 year old son wanted for Halloween so I ordered it for him and it arrived extremely fast! It's just what he wanted only the mask is different from the display picture as well as the picture on the package itself. It does not have the long looking nose/mouth area as displayed. Instead it has kind of a twisted looking, flatter mask. I don't know if the mens sizes have the actual mask dipicted or not or if it is also like this one but, like I said, the mask has no long hole looking area. When I opened it I was kind of upset about it but, my son still likes it so what can I say? I am including a picture of the mask we recieved."

"The costume fit poorly (too short by the feet, just right on the arms) and was over-all a little snug if you want to wear something underneath. (But the chest plate was so big we had to cut it off! - My son couldn't put his arms down at his sides with it on!!)
Frankly, it's also really lame - just a cloak of very thin polyester material with frayed edges. If you want to be a Dementor just make your own costume! You'll look a million times better!!
Also, FedEx left the package on my doorstep (I paid almost $10 for shipping!) even though we have a package drop-off office in our community for when someone isn't home!! Anyone could have taken it. Very disappointed!!"

"Of all the costumes on the site, my six year old had to be a dementor. He is so excited and when it came in the mail he put it on right away. I like the velcro in the back; it makes it a easy on/off. The sleeves are long enough that I didn't have to buy the dementor hands and he just wear black pants and shoes underneath. The mask is loose enough to slide up so he can see better."

"I ordered this Dementor costume for my 7 yr old son. Looked everywhere and couldn't find it to no avail. My son was upset and thought halloween would be ruined. Ok so, I decided to look online and found that not only did buy costumes.com have the Costume in stock, but a lot more reasonable than other sites. So I ordered it and hoped for the best. The costume was shipped and at my door within 3 days WOW. Now mind you that included procesing time. Now that is fast. I couldn't be more pleased with this company. The costume was as pictured and great quality! My son was soooo excited. It made this years Halloween. I will definately order costumes from BuyCostumes.com again. They are a favorite in our house for many Halloween's to come. Happy shopping!"

"This is the exact costume my son wanted for Halloween this year. Believe it or not there are 2 different kinds of Dementor Costumes.

The size chart was true to size. The holes for the eyes and mouth are NOT too small.

"Other then the fact that the mask was a little smashed and misshapen from shipping, the costume is great quality and the fit is perfect. It's the right size if a jacket is needed underneath. My son had a great time trying it on and chasing the dog around the house. I also got the hands to go with it, which add the perfect touch."
