"I bought this to wear to a Halloween party and now I can't wait to wear it! I am 5'5" 135lbs and wear a size 8 so I ordered this in a medium. I could have gone a size smaller but I think it would have been more like a shirt then a dress. It is very short so taller ladies might want to think about that before they order. The plastic cuffs are cheap but the hat is awsome and has a great shape. Overall I would say this was well worth the money!"
"I got this in xsmall, but it was still too big on me. I'm 5'2" and 105lbs. The dress was just so loose around the waist. I had to cut a small slit for the badge to clip on properly; otherwise it would just clip onto the collar. I had to wear a belt so it wouldn't look so baggy. The hat, cuffs, everything else was great though."

"I'm 5'9" and wear a 6 dress. I ordered the small and it fit perfectly, except it was probably 6 inches too short. Not modestly too short - the dress hit me mid hip. I'm long waisted, so maybe it would fit shorter waisted girls, but it did not work for me. Good quality and cute, but just too short."

"I bought this as a surprise for a friend, and was pretty happy with it. The quality isn't great (the accessories are plastic and not well-made), but it's a really FUN costume, which was my goal. It seemed a bit small (as I am usually a medium and had to re-order the large), but that may just be my figure, as the top of the costume ended up being larger than I wanted.
Overall, a lot of fun, and pretty sexy. I substituted real handcuffs for the plastic ones which made it a bit better."

"I bought this outfit because my husband is graduating from the police academy and wanted to wear something fun for him. When I got it and tried it on, the quality and fit of the outfit were great. I went ahead and had professional pictures taken in the outfit as an additional gift for my husband, on top of the fact that i can wear it for a halloween this year. "This costume was fun but I had to think quick! In the first hour the badge, cuffs and the plastic piece on the hat all broke. Thank god I have a glue gun and could fix it before we left for the evening. The cuffs couldn't be fixed but that was ok...I had my own :-P The dress was ok but if your ladies are large you may want to get the next size up because the buttons needed a pin to keep them in place. I had fun in this costume but the quality was not that great compaired to the other costumes that I have ordered on this site!"

"So i bought this costume for Halloween, West Hollywood's Parade, and it was my first year actually dressing up. I thought that the mini skirt was a bit short, but was easily fixed by wearing a pair of black shorts underneath. The outfit looked true to the picture and fit quite well. I purchased a small size and I'm 5'5", 125 lbs, usually wear a size 3-4, which fit well. I saw several police outfits, but nothing like this one.. its more conservatively tasteful, yet sexy. Overall, I had a blast at my party and busted my boyfriend wouldn't mind wearing the costume again."

"I'm usually very impressed with the costumes on this site, but I was disappointed with this one. Even with the accessories, the dress looked very plain and had no shape to it. I'm 5'9" 125 lbs. and the fit was very unflattering (I ordered the small). Also, the hat had a weird shape to it and I had a hard time trying to adjust it. The costume looked great on the models in one of the other reviews, but I didn't like it."

"When another online costume store was not able to fulfill our order at the last minute, we ordered from BuyCostumes. It was last minute, 4 days prior to an awards show we produce and the costumes shipped same day and arrived in plenty of time. They were true to size and fit the models we hired perfectly (see attached pic). We will definitely be using BuyCostumes for any future needs we have."

"I ordered the XS and it's still too big...Wish it had a seperate teen size or an XXS size, I wear a size 0/2 dress size. I just used a belt with it to make it fit better, which ended up looking better with a belt anyway. Otherwise, it's a great buy!"
