"I purchased this crown for a prince character, instead of a queen. It definitely works for both genders. I chose this because it matched the kings crown, available through BuyCostumes.com, and I was very happy with the quality and sizing of that item. Unfortunately when the "queens" crown came in a diameter that was suprisingly small. The posted description says, "One size fits most adults". This one is more young-child sized. I feel listing the diameter of any hat or head gear would result in a higher number of satisfied customers. I was able to modify the crown by prying the pegs, in the back, from their holes. Then, I hot glued two strips of elastic to both sides of the crown. Thus, making it useful for many head sizes. I really like the padding around the inner band. Very comfortable."

"Pros: Nice foam padding inside this crown makes it very comfortable. Cons: It can't be resized easily. You could add more foam if you need it smaller or take out foam if you need it bigger..."
