"This costume is very cute, just as it appears in the sample picture. I purchased a 2T-4T and it was a little big for my 3 1/2 year old daughter. We had to hem it up and take it in at the top so that it would fit her better. She absolutely loves it!"

"I bough both Ariel costumes knowing that i would return one. This is the one i will return. It's a verypretty and different looking ariel dress but the size is a little off. the top part is very wide on shoulder and the bodice is quite full. the length is much longer than the other one. my daughter is 3 and wears and 2-3t and is 40 inches tall is this one was too big. Maybe it would be better for older girls. it is very pretty and shiny - too bad about the fit."

"My 3 year old loves this costume. It seems to be made pretty well and is really cute on. It definately runs large and my daughter is tall for her age. The costume is going to have to be taken up in the back and length in order for her to wear it trick or treating.
Overall I am very happy with it."

"This costume is soo CUTE. My 3 year old loves it. The size runs big. I bought a size 2-4 it was big. I agree with another review that it is thin, but only with light behind it. Looks fine in regular lighting. It seems to be made well, but I don't think it would stand up to alot of everyday wear."

"super fast shipping. beautiful and well made costume. it does run big. size 2-4 fits just right, maybe a tiny bit big on my 3 1/2 year old. she usually wears a size 4-5T and is pretty tall for her age. thankfully i read the other reviews who also said it ran big. we also got the seaweed boa and the wand. it all looks SO CUTE together!"

"My daughter just had to have this costume for Halloween but only 4-6 was in stock and she is 7 years old. She is thin and wears 7 slim in gap and Old Navy so I went with my gut and ordered the 4-6.

My younger daughter tried it on first. She's 5 and of average weight. It was swimming on her. There was no way she could have worn it if she wanted too. She was tripping all over it and the top was falling off of her shoulders.

When my 7 year old tried it on it fit her PERFECTLY. Perfect length and all-around size. The top still had a tendency to fall off but I was able to tie the white hanger straps together - problem solved.

The material is rather thin so it has been put away for safe keeping until Halloween.

Lastly, The sequined bottom is see-through to some extent. We tried it on in the daytime and I could see through it quite a bit. I don't know if it will make a difference at night other than for street lights but she will be wearing shorts under there. Smaller girls wearing this might need a tank top as well.

Beautiful costume, especially with the matching seaweed boa!"
