"Great mermaid costume, a little difficult to walk in, headband fit well, seaweed boa was extra but worth the money. Bottom of it caught leaves on the ground as we walked our neighborhood, but it will still be usable for Halloween for dress up fun."

"We purchased this costume for our daughter as she wanted to be and thinks she is Ariel the mermaid-- We received it early and held it to gove it to her closer to Halloween as she almost wore it out in only a week-- she wore it every second of the day-- now that Halloween is over it has become the shrine -- it will definatly be a saved costume for her. It was a great costume-- we loved it, she loved it and still does!!!!"

"My 5 year old loved her mermaid costume! This was the only mermaid costume we found that had sleeves so she was able to wear it with warm layers underneath. Shipping was fast too (as was it last year when we ordered from buycostumes.com). Also, we didn't have to fight the crowds in the stores! We will definately order here every year!"

"Great little costume. My daughter LOVED it! We added a bit of trim to personalize it. We purchased all the accessories as well though they did not make it into this photo! I was very pleased with this one and the price was really reasonable."

"This was a cute costume that fit well. I would point out that if you live in a colder climate, it will be difficult to wear a shirt underneath this costume to keep your trick-or-treater warm. The neckline is very open.
Otherwise, we loved it. We also got the boa and that was great too."

"I have ordered Halloween costumes for the past four years from buycostumes.com, and this is the first time that I have been disappointed. The costume looked extremely cute when my daughter put it on, but the sequins around the neck and shoulder line, as well as the waistline were rubbing her, so I had to sew a lining into the edges of the costume so she wouldn't be hurting. It was also falling apart by the end of the night. The bottom started fraying and sequins were coming off. I definately won't be able to save this costume for my other daughter to use.
Also, you can see through the bottom part of the costume, so you have to wear pants underneath it."

"She loves the costume and looks really cute. The boa is a little stiff and she complained that it was itchy. It does run big so I ordered a size down. The sleeves were a little short but the fin part was long enough to reach the floor. Overall a good buy."
