That's got to be the best pirate I've ever seen. Be the roguish captain of the Black Pearl with this addition to your Captain Jack Sparrow costume. Includes a pirate hat with attached scarf and beaded braids. One size fits most adults. This is an officially licensed Pirates of the Caribben product. Braided beard and costume sold separately.

Title: ARRGH...Hat makes an Instant Pirate Date: October 27, 2009
"This hat made my son an instant Pirate with no need for makeup or even a costume. Just Black shirt and pants needed. Hat is a little stretchy so fits most noggins and the tie is attached to had is stretchy knit and true to color in photo. The dread locks are thin but twisted and has a beaded section on each side. I did braid one dreadlock on each side and I suppose one could add strips of suede and more beads, but the hair is really long, just as pictured. I did make a sash and bought the Pirate Sword with suede strips and Tales of Old London Dick Turpin Pistol to tuck into sash. He just intends not to shave for 1 or 2 days for the scruffy look and he's ready for party time Saturday. Arrrrgh Matey."

"We ordered this wig for my husband and it worked out perfectly! We ended up making a few adjustments to it like putting a safety pin in the front to try to correct the shipping disfigurement of the point in the front of the hat. We left the pin in for a few days and it was fine after that. We also hot glued in a wooden chop stick to make it look a little more authentic. The dreds snag VERY easily on things as they are just twisted hair so you do have to be a little careful."

"i was very satisfied with this hat. i bought a costume elsewhere and this hat went perfectly with it. it looks like your wearing a bandana but its connected to the hat which i think made it less hot. the dreads with the beads are definately a cool addition to the costume and give your face a totally different look. highly recommended!!!"

"My husband wore this Jack Sparrow Pirate hat and hair when we took our 4 kids out trick-or-treating. It is the perfect costume for guys who don't like to do much "dressing up" in a costume. He wore jeans and a black shirt, so nothing "extra" was needed to buy, or wear, to turn my husband into Jack Sparrow for the night!

The reason I rated the quality as a "4" is because the hat was a little musty smelling when we got it."

"This went over well at our party this year. Ladies loved this one. Make sure to use eye liner to bring out the eyes. This hat comes with the dreadlocks and fit wonderfully. Put on a torn white open shirt and some black jeans and you can be a pirate to be recon'd with! Great Price, Great Look. Had all the ladies looking !!"

"I have actually ordered two of these Jack Sparrow hats, at different times, and received subtly different versions. The first one I got had more "hair" and it wasn't as dreadlocked as the second hat. The bandanna (which is permanently attached) was more burgundy on the second than the brighter reddish color of the first hat. But they both work just fine for Jack costumes.
I will say if you're a man and wearing this hat, the "hair" provided is thin. It would look a little weird without a wig as wel! The hat itself fits comfortably on an adult head. The picture provided in the view here on BuyCostumes makes the hat look very large. Perhaps their model had a small noggin! It is a normal to actually smaller sized hat.

"Hat was delivered all wrinkled and the hat fit fine but the size of the hat was not as pictured in the ad. I will try to steam the hat to get out the wrinkles but I cannot do anything about the size. The hair braids are good."
