"The Cheerless Leader Costume is a good quality costume - not cheaply made and easy to rip, etc. like many other costumes I've bought for my daughter before. I bought all the accessories to go with it, including the leg warmers, boot covers, glovettes, and tights, and the whole ensemble is really neat. I don't usually spend this much on a Halloween costume (the total for everything was around $60), but decided to splurge this year and am very happy with everything.
Item was shipped quickly and packaged well too.
The only thing I would like to warn about is that the middle part of the costume between the shirt and skirt is thick netting, with nothing underneath. I didn't realize that when looking at the picture. However, I don't feel that it is distasteful the way it looks, but other parents may not like that any skin is shown, so I feel it is my duty to warn. It really doesn't look bad though."

"costume came and I was very disappointed in the material choice. the undergarments are to long and saggy, the skirt has no flair, the sleeves have some type of strap that hangs very shabby. The pom poms come on long sticks, what the heck, how can a child hold the pom poms and trick or treat, completely a bad design...GREAT CONCEPT...bad costume. With alot of changes by me and my husband we made it work, but had to do alot of work to make it work."

"I ordered this for my daughter who is 7. She and I both loved it. Although we loved it for different reasons. She loved the look and comfort of the costume and I loved the quality and price. "I bought this for my 6yr old. and we both loved it!! She wears a normal size 6 and the 7/8 fit her perfect, we even layered a thermal and long sleeve black tee underneath. The glovelettes were a little big, so u couldn't see the red mesh very well, but still very cute. I even took an old long sleeve red shirt and cut the sleeves off to make the leg warmers. We got the stitch tights, but they just looked like black sharpie lines, not like actual stitches, plus with the boots and leg warmers you could barely see them so I wish I would have saved the money and gotten plain white tights. My daughter has short hair, so we got a black wig with white stripes and put it in pigtails with red ribbon and it made the costume even better.
OVERALL: loved it, would recomend it & would even buy it again if she wanted to be it later on."

"Wow....my daughter fell in love with this costume months ago and just had to have it. We received it a little over a week ago and she has worn in to three parties thus far. She says that it is very comfortable, and she loves looking like the bad girl. My only complaint was that I could not get all of the pieces (especially the tights and boot covers). We got creative and found tights that matched the outfit and bought some black legwarmers as well. My daughter (who is 7 1/2) also HAD to have skull and crossbone earrings.
The costume was great and after three parties have not seen anyone else with it (which is pretty cool). Her good friend had a similar cheerless leader, but it was not as good as this one.
Lots of fun...I will definitelly be buying from buy costumes.com next year!!!!!!"

"My daughter finally talked me into buying this costume for her and I was very pleased with the quality of the actual costume, and the fact that it covered so much skin!
