"The construction, look, and feel of this item were all just terrible. The top of the crown kept sinking in, so I had to stuff it with a shirt to get it to "inflate" to the right shape. The plastic was too heavy to stay on my head, and even the most serious hair clips were no match for it. I ended up just stuffing a roll of toilet paper into the crown just to get it to the right shape for a few quick pictures, then tossing the thing out. It was a horrible purchase, and I don't know why a place would even bother making a product that can't conceivably work."

"The Gothic Queen Crown/Hat is a wonderful addition to the Dark Queen Costume, however it is so, so small. We had to literally cut slits in the back and sides to make it fit slightly onto my moms head. Once it was on it had to be hat pined to the wig in order to remain on her head. Looks great, but hard to wear."

"Prior to purchasing, I read all the reviews. Therefore, I was prepared for the crown to be floppy. I took the advice of another purchaser and stuffed it with tissues to hold its shape and used LOTS of hairpins to hold it on. It looked GREAT with the Evil Queen costume....really set it off. I received many complements!!!!"

"I bought this crown to finish the look of my Evil Queen costume. It really made the whole costume look better, however, the crown is so small it didn't fit on my head over the wig. By adding an elastic string and making it into a strapped in version, it worked out pretty well!"

"This crown has a great look. It is rubbery like a mask though, so it really pulls my hair when I try to adjust it. The opening is small, so it sits atop my head rather than on it, and I need about 5 bobby pins to hold it on. It goes well with my Wicked Queen costume, but it's high maintenance."

"I bought this to match wicked queen costume is made of rubber and yes is floppy i fixed it very easily all you need to do is stuff the crown and voila it stands up on its own !!! Then to keep it on your head BOBBY PINS BOBBY PINS BOBBY PINS!!!! I used about 6 and it stayed on fine !!"

"The crown is made of soft rubber so it does not stand up on it's own. The skull and cross are heavy, so they sink into the middle of the crown. I had to stuff it to fill it out."

"I purchased this hat for a matching evil queen costume. The hat itself is cute...but I can't seem to find a way for it to stay on! It's a soft rubber that wont stand tall as pictured it flops over and there's not a way to keep it on unless you have a childs size head to strech it over the crown of your head. UGH!!
It wasted my time and money."
