"I ordered this cosutme and was pretty scared as I have never ordered from here before. When I got it i was really surprised. The size was a great size. Im a 14 and still had room. Im 5'3 and had to take the hem up quite a bit. But over all i was happy about the costume the only thing I didnt like was the coller the only way to have it stand up if its tied around your neck It chokes you. So i kept it up by bobby pinnig it to my wig and that worked. The crown unfortanatly dosent come with it. But my hubby got smart he bought a purple fairy purse and a tiaria and sewed it together and we just sprayed it with black hairspray to give it its color. loved it first time buyer will be back again for sure. Thanks"

"I bought this costume and then gave it to a friend to work with. I think she looks better than the model. This was such a cool costume but we had to work with it a bit by stuffing certain areas to make the dress hang right. She bought spray stuff to make the wig look grey and we put dead roses from the garden in the wig. She anchored the crown to the wig and stuffed the crown to make it stay up correctly. This costume is great, but it took a lot of work to make it look right. Be prepared to work with this a little. She had the best costume at the party!"

"I still haven't worn this out so i will let you know how that goes. I just got this costume a couple of days ago. When i took it out of the box it was really wrinkled I tried ironing on low but they weren't coming out, i got a little bit of water on the gold part and the water spot stayed ( very faintly) I finally flipped the dress inside out and on a medium setting i ironed it out ( not the black paper like material, that will burn!) the wrinkles came out insantly so if you are having troulble with the wrinkles try it that way."
"i wore this costume last year and loved it. i got a lot of compliments and won first place in a costume contest. you do get a little over heated if your not careful. but over all i loved it. best costume ever"
"I bought this and the top was way too big and it was uncomfortablly too big, even when I tightened the strings. The petticoat wasn't that great and it didn't do what it's supposed to...puff out the dress. I have to say, I was disapointed but it miight be due to my body type: pear. I have very small upper body paired with a generous lower body. The pieces together looked great though."

"Couldn't believe how quickly my shipment arrived here in the UK. And the price for shipment was reasonable too! Had no trouble getting the collar to stay up, just tied it around the neck and added a litlte gem to disguise the fact that was what was holding it up. Though I would have preferred if it could stay up on its own accord. Overall, really impressed, everyone commented on it, my only dissapointment is that the coordinating crown was out of stock til after Halloween, and the grey wig pictured with it is not available. I went with the black Vanpiress wig and my own crown, and that did the trick. i'm 5'8" and was worried it would be too short, but it was just fine."

"I was so excited to recieve this costume, but I was disappointed when I tried it on. I am 5'4" and 117 pounds and the top part was HUGE! Even after tying the back up, it was still drooping in the front. I even bought a push-up corset that gave me great cleavage, but it was still too big up top. So I decided to put some lace-up in the back with ribbon and black pins and was able to tighten it to fit. After that, it fit great! I was also a little disappointed that the collar wouldn't stay up, I should have put some wire in it. I used a clothes steamer to iron out the wrinkles in the dress and the puffy stuff under the dress, and it looked flawless afterwards. I recieved so many compliments on the costume and people even thought I made it myself because the quality was so nice. I felt so elegant in it even though I was supposed to be evil. I'm very excited to wear it again!!"

"Ok... I ordered early just in case it needed sometime to come in. But got it in 3 days - Shipping Free plus I had a % off the entire order. For the amount I paid it is worth it. I'm 5'3 so its way long. Have to hem. The sleeves is long sleeves so its hot. The fit was great. The only thing for me it's HOT, HOT .I live in Hawaii and it's humid, voggy and hot. "I bought this dress to wear to a halloween party and it arrived with in 3 days of placing my order!!!! I had to do alot of ironing to get the petticoat to unwrinkle and lay nice. The dress was a little big i had to tighten up the lacing as i am a size 5/6. The length was good 5'7 and it wasn't too long. The costume actually has a pleather bodice and side bustle area that i didn't notice from the picture. The side hip area will need to be stuffed to help it stand up because it falls flat. The crown does not come with the costume and was sold out of every store so i had to make my own :c( All in all a good costume for the the price."

"I was afraid that the size would be way too big. But, the laces tighten it up nicely and there is also a tie at the waist (that ties in back). I'm short 5'4" so I need to wear heels or try to hem this. It is nicely made. The crinoline is a stiff paper that does keep the fullness (but has an unusual odor that I'm sure will go away after it is aired out for a bit). I'm VERY happy with this and can't wait to wear it!!"
"My husband and I purchased the evil king and queen last year and they worked out great. You just have to shape the crown with a hair dryer if you get it because it comes crushed. Other than that both costumes were perfect and looked great."
"I received the costume super fast. Earlier than it was due!!! That was a plus. I tried it on, and it was full right away with a lil fluffing of the material on the inside that makes it puffy.. A few wrinkles that easily came out with a low set iron. The collar does not stand up well so we wired it and its perfect. I ordered the crown and choker as well. Choker was perfect, crown was rubber and was crunched in a weird shape, my very handy husband took a heat gun to it and voila, my crown is now perfectly shaped. This costume fits wonderful and can be tweaked if you are larger or smaller so that it fits many sizes. Overall for the price it is a great quality costume that can be worn more than once. It is a bit longer, so I do recommend taller shoes. But I am super pleased. My husband got The Armored Knight costume and we dressed my infant/toddler son up as the heir to the throne. It made an awesome grouping and I can't say enough good things!"

"I found this a great costume and the quality is good. I had to wear it indoors during the 3 summer months and it held up nice but was very warm, which makes it great for fall and winter wear. The dress came out of the box very full. It was about a foot too long though (I am 5'6). I also found the size was off. I am a size 10-12 normally and the one size (12-14) it comes in fit like a 16. Great costume that is lots of fun. I was really impressed with the shipping time (4 days to Canada)."

Girls just want to have fun
"I wore this costume to a Venetian masked ball. I am a size 14/16, so I bought the plus size. I had to cut four inches off the bottom, but other than that I didn't have to do a thing but press it. It is nicely detailed and the price is very fair. With a different wig I, and a hat, I can wear it as a completely different character. This dress has potential. Note about the slip: it's made of heavy paper. I pressed the wrinkles out of it to make it smoothe. Also, the costume has to be pulled over the head, so wait until you are dressed to put on a wig. The collar can be tucked in, which is what I chose to do."
"This costume was pretty cool, nicely made. My only real issue was the collar, it had a bit of struggle sitting up. I'm a size 7 and it was a little big on me so I really had to cinch it all the way but still looked good."

"I really enjoyed this costume and I received many complements such as "most authentic" and "beautiful". Also, it was comfortable to wear (i even wore sweat pants beneath to keep me warm). The costume is full right out of the box. I followed the advice of other reviewers and purchased a size larger...too bad!!! The dress was slightly larger than needed but because it has a tie in the back and lace bodice in the front...it still worked well. My only complaint is the bodice material does not continue to the back and i would have preferred a zipper to a tie. But still an excellent purchase and lots of fun!!!!"

"I enjoyed the costume. It made my chest look HUGE. I found it to be extremely long and had to tape it up. It was very hot. Halloween here was in the 70 not a good costume for warm weather. I couldn't wait to take it off. It is very warm."
