Title: Lots 'O' Fun!! Date: October 20, 2009
"This costume is a spitting image of the picture depicted on the website.........after you put the work in to make it that way. As other reviews have stated, you'll have to be inventive and patient to get this costume the way you want it. The helmet is great as is the tunic. The chest piece and the shoulder pads are not attached to each other but expected to stay together with a thin strip of velcro. Not gonna happen. The costume does come packaged tight so the shoulder pads and helmet have to be "shaped" the way you want them. Stuffing the small parts like ears and horns with cotton balls works great. The chest piece and shoulder pads were all pinned from the inside strategically to the tunic by my wife. If not, you'll lose the shoulder pads and the chest piece will move and rise on you all night. For the price of this costume, the little bit of time invested in fixing these small problems is well worth it. The finished product does look amazing. One thing that would be nice is if the evil shield depicted in the photo was available for purchase but I was unable to find it on this site. I found another shield elsewhere that works well. Looking forward to Halloween night with my "Barbarian Babe"! Too bad it's only for one night. One more afterthought, I'm not a big man by any means and this costume fits perfectly. I have no idea how this 1 size fits all would fit a big man.......Good for me..Big man....not so much...!! Happy Halloween all!!"

"Overall this was a good costume.

I like the Tunic part very much, I decided on this one mainly because I already had the shield and weapons from previous Halloween Wall Decorations. The Shoulders, Chest, and Helmet were not quite what I was expecting.

The Shoulders and Helmet are molded from what the ad says as vinyl (Same as any other mask you would buy from a store pretty much). These come squished in the package so don't expect to wear it right out of the box. I had to stuff the helmut full of newpapers to reform it and get out the creases. I read a trick to help with costumes, which was to stuff the small areas (like horns, ears, etc...) with cotton balls so they keep their shape. And just to add a side note - The Helmet (vinyl) smelled when I first opened it, but after a few days the smell went away.

The chest piece is a different material then the helmet, shoulders, and Belt. It was more like a styrofoam molded pad. Only problem is there is know way to keep the bottom part of the chest piece down, so you may have to be creative with that (There were no directions with it so maybe i am missing something).

Have to be creative with the pants and shoes part. I found some shoe covers on a different website that have 3 spikes on them. Looks ok with the costume (shoe covers just strap over your regular shoes). For the pants I am using just a pair of black pants, but purchased pirate boot covers also (havent got these yet - due in 2 days). The pirate boot covers go from the top of the boots to about my knees (these are without the normal flair you see on most pirate boot covers). From the picture they looked close to the wrist/arm bands that came with the costume.

For an added effect I am using the green glowing face paint for around my eyes (Might have to see If i can find red glowing face paint). Since the mask is dark it makes my eyes glow inside the mask.

"An acceptable replacement to the "Dark King" that was no longer available. The chest plate is only thin form but the mask is great. Fits a little slim so not for a very large man. Went nicely with my "Dark Queen"."

Title: Evil Knight Date: September 16, 2008
"Okay, I hope this helps you all. This costume is actually very cool if you have two things. Sturdy wire and a heat gun. The belt and shoulder pads and the mask are all rubber and from the manufacturer to storage and then shipping to your door something happens that makes it look all messed up. We took a heat gun to all the rubber pieces and made them go back to their original shape. If my husband wasn't so handy we probably would have returned the costume sorely dissapointed. Instead with some minor tweaks he looked so awesome that I was ultimately pleased with the end result.
We wired the shoulder pieces to make them stand up in better shape and then we stuffed the spikes in the mask and the shoulder pads with cottonballs so that they stood straight and erect like they were real instead of latex. After that, the costume looked just like the picture and my handsome husband gave me shivers with his wicked appearance!!! What evil Queen wouldn't want a dark evil handsome Knight to do her bidding!! mwahah.
