"I ordered this costume as was kind of worried about the sizing. I usually wear a size 10-12 but when I got the dress and tried it on i was very pleased with how well it really did fit. The purple velvet material is a very good quality especially for the price. The hat is super cool and does stand up very well without adding anything to hold it up. I love the accessories that come with it. I added a wig and fishnets and all of it together is AWESOME!! The only thing that i can complain about is the neck line is not a low as the one pictured but i just cut it down and little and now it looks great!! I would definatly recommend this costume to anyone and BuyCostumes.com as well. They ship super fast with no need to worry if you will get it in time."

"I ordered this costume yester day before noon and it was at my front door the next day before 3pm. Very impressed with the QUICK delivery! ;) The costume is supper cute! Im 5'4 so its a lil to long and i wieght 110lbs but i took it in JUST A LITTLE!! and it looks great! the top of the dress is a little high cut so i will also be cutting it alil lower as to show a little more skin! I saw in another review that the one lady's hat wouldn't stand up on it own, my however does! I cant wait to wear this on halloween! Great costume for the price ansd yes i would recommend it!"

"I ordered this for a Halloween party this year and it arrived quickly. I had read other reviews that it doesn't fit like the picture, so I was a little nervous. I do have to say that the dress by itself didn't do much to impress me, but once you add all of the accessories (hat, pendant, makeup, stockings and heels) and adjusted the top (see below) it looked almost exactly like the picture and got me a lot of compliments!
I am 5'7" and when I put the dress on it looked like it was not cut as high in front as what is pictured but when you strike the same pose as the model and turn one leg out it looked exactly the same as the picture. I usually wear a size 8 and the dress was a bit loose, but not enough that I felt like I needed to take it in. One other note is that I wore it with heels that are about 4" high and still stepped on the train a couple of times, so be careful!
As for the top, it is definitely not nearly as low-cut as it appears in the picture -- I understand why another reviewer called it "frumpy" -- but a quick snip of the scissors and about 3 minutes with my sewing machine fixed that. If this had been a $100 costume, I would have been a little disappointed but it was much more than I expected for $39.99. The hat is fantastic, especially over the black and purple wig (sold separately) and a couple of different people at the party thought the pendant was real metal even though it is rubber. I definitely recommend it!"

"This costume does fit a bit odd, as other reviewers stated. It has a high slit in the front, which being 5'9, was a little too high. It's a stretchy material but it won't hide all trouble spots. I don't know why they state one size fits all, when that isn't true! Every woman is totally different, and sizing should be accurate. It looked good, but the slit bugged me. It wasn't what I expected. the material and quality is fine, it's just the cut of the costume isn't all what it shows on line."

"This is a well made costume for the price. The best part about it is the huge, funky hat. You will need to stuff the hat with something like tissue paper or clean plastic grocery bags in order for it to stand up like shown in the picture. I paired it with the Purple Poison wig and it looks great! I am 5'2, curvy, and typically wear a size 8. This costume fit me like a glove so I'd say it runs a little small considering it's supposed to go up to size 14. It has 2 small pieces of fabric that you can tie in the back to make the dress fit tighter around your waist. The only complaint I have is that the length in the front is longer than shown in the picture, and the v-neck is waayyy higher than shown. I usually have a problem with things being too revealing due to my bust size but this dress doesn't reveal a hint of cleavage. If you are looking for something revealing, pass this one by."
