Title: More than I expected for $39.99

"I ordered this for a Halloween party this year and it arrived quickly. I had read other reviews that it doesn't fit like the picture, so I was a little nervous. I do have to say that the dress by itself didn't do much to impress me, but once you add all of the accessories (hat, pendant, makeup, stockings and heels) and adjusted the top (see below) it looked almost exactly like the picture and got me a lot of compliments!
I am 5'7" and when I put the dress on it looked like it was not cut as high in front as what is pictured but when you strike the same pose as the model and turn one leg out it looked exactly the same as the picture. I usually wear a size 8 and the dress was a bit loose, but not enough that I felt like I needed to take it in. One other note is that I wore it with heels that are about 4" high and still stepped on the train a couple of times, so be careful!
As for the top, it is definitely not nearly as low-cut as it appears in the picture -- I understand why another reviewer called it "frumpy" -- but a quick snip of the scissors and about 3 minutes with my sewing machine fixed that. If this had been a $100 costume, I would have been a little disappointed but it was much more than I expected for $39.99. The hat is fantastic, especially over the black and purple wig (sold separately) and a couple of different people at the party thought the pendant was real metal even though it is rubber. I definitely recommend it!"

Title: Fits a bit wierd, but looks good

"This costume does fit a bit odd, as other reviewers stated. It has a high slit in the front, which being 5'9, was a little too high. It's a stretchy material but it won't hide all trouble spots. I don't know why they state one size fits all, when that isn't true! Every woman is totally different, and sizing should be accurate. It looked good, but the slit bugged me. It wasn't what I expected. the material and quality is fine, it's just the cut of the costume isn't all what it shows on line."
