"I bought this costume for a Halloween party and it was a huge hit! I am 5'6" and 135 pounds and purchased a size Small and it fit like a glove. There is a lot of room in the bust, but be careful if you have a larger chest like me (34D) because you will have to be checking all night to make sure you aren't revealing too much! The quality is fantastic. Overall a great costume. I was very pleased."

Title: Close, But No Cigar

"I purchased this outfit to wear with my beer keg, but it didn't work out. It fit everywhere except the sleeves. She couldn't get her arms in the sleeves. An out of town friend tried to wear it but she couldn't zip it up all the way. The material and design were very nice. I kept it, hoping SOMEONE will be able to wear it in the future."

Title: Fun but fell apart!

"I loved this costume when I received it. The fit was perfect and everyone loved it! My only compaint is that the velvety green midsection started to peel off as I was wearing it for the first time. Then when I washed and dryed the costume as directed, the green color bled into all the white fabric. I ended up having to throw it away. I'm sad that I only managed to get one use out of this costume :-( Therefore, the price tag was too high for the low level of quality."

"Nice costume that fits pretty true to size (I am a size 2 and ordered an x-small. I had to buy a lacy bandeau bra since the bodice was a little too low cut for my bra size (34C). It was really short as well so buy some lacy pantaloons to wear underneath."

"Costume arrived and was quite crinkled with the skirt and even though i thought I couldnt iron it - a really hot iron did the trick.
lots of compliments and fitted well.
its quite short - shorter than other costumes that friends were wearing so i suggest you buy some stockings so nothing is revealed!"

"I got this costume last year and i loved it! It fit very well (i wear a 27" waist and the small fit perfectly) and the material was very good quality. I wore little white spandex shorts underneath it because it is quite short. I also bought the beer mug purse to go with it, it was a little squished when i got it, but it worked! I LOVED the costume and would recommend it to anyone! i bought another costume from buycostumes this year and again, the quality was great!"

"I tried this on as soon as I got it. It fits like a glove. I plan on wearing it to a mountain bike/Halloween party. I have no doubt my bike shorts will fit underneath and still keep it's German feel. The plan is for my husband and I to reflect characters from Beerfest, one of my favorite movies!

"well i spent my st pattys day at an irish pub. this costume did the trick but i mailed it back today for a refund. the problem is the zipper broke the min i put it on and i had to pin it all night. there was a hole in the back of the skirt and as you can see i am a small breasted person, well the elastic around the breast area come apart within an hour. now noone knew my issues, but for the price i thought the quality was poor. over all i think the costume has a great look to it. as long as you are not looking for years out of this costume and a once or twice wear go for it. as far as the size goes i am a 6 and 36b bust and small was a perfect size. so order true to size. i try to be 100% honest because i order off here quite a bit and read every word of these comments. peace and love from fl"

"I bought this dress for an Irish murder mystery party - I was a pub waitress. The colors were very vibrant and although a little Bavarian looking, it still did the trick. The material is very comfortable, however the seams in the upper arm became rather snug after a while. I had read in many other reviews to order a size down as it fits large. DON'T! I am a very medium build and bought the medium - the small would've been far too tight. The dress is short ; unless you are planning on a round of the can-can, I'd put on a pair of shorts underneath. The lacing up front made for a nice neat look. My only complaint is the cleaning of the garment. The tag said to wash in the machine on delicate and cold cycle. I did. I did not put it in the dryer but line dried it on a hangar. The middle bodice had deterioated as if a cat had clawed it. It was wearable, but certainly did not look new. If you purchase this dress, you will get fun use out of it, but hand wash it instead of using the machine!"

"My fiance and I went as an octoberfest couple and our costumes were a hit. I am a size 4-6 and this costume fit fairly well. I had to alter the top a little to keep it from showing too much. The quality was great!"

"My costume came with a rip in the zipper seam, which I had my friend fix. Other than that, everything worked out great! The dress is short, so I bought a red petticoat to go underneath. It was a hit, and was fun to wear. I've never purchased a costume before, so I thought it was a little expensive. All in all, a fun costume."

Buy this costume!

"I was slightly worried about this costume as all of the reviews said that the skirt was shorter than the photo. The reviews also suggested ordering one size smaller as the costume was a bit big. I found none of this to be true. The skirt was the PERFECT length. I got the costume and zipped it up and it felt like it was made for me. It truly fit like a second skin. I have never had a halloween costume fit this well. What a great costume! I will wear this for both Halloween and Oktoberfest parties in the coming years!"

"OK so every year my universities oktoberfest party is the biggest and best most anticipated event of the calendar and for the past two years we've been going in costume but nothing official so the third year was DEFINITELY a charm! we bought these costumes and they where brilliant! we wore them all day and night for a total of more than 12 hours and the fun factor was through the roof. A little short so we wore petticotes underneath just in case and to add even more body to the skirt. You get a lot of attention and end up in a lot of photos so be prepared for a blast! Hope to get many more years to go out of them!
Thanks a tonne Australia doesn't really have the biggest costume range and we got these off of the internet quicker than any of our costume stores would have been able to get them in!

"I orginially bought the "teen" size costume thinking it would fit me better but it was too small and the proportions didn't fit right so ended up getting the small. I'm 5'1", 110lbs, size 4. The costume fit perfect except for the bust area. I'm small in that dept and will have to do something to make it look "fuller" but otherwise a good quality costume for the price. The cheaper priced costumes are usually "one size fits all" and those don't work for me. I found it's better to pay a little more for a better fit so I usually go for the costumes that offer different sizes. I can't wait to wear this one for Halloween!"

"This is a very fun costume with vibrant colors!
It's a bit short in the back, but still okay for public settings. The lace underneath the skirt doesn't show the entire way around, but this was very easy to fix. The sizing was perfect. And even if it's off a little bit, the lace up front allows for some adjustments. All in all, I am very pleased with my purchase!"
