"I absolutely loved this costume for my little girl as much as she did. It fit perfectly and the accessories were fantastic. I did make her a sword out of cardboard to compliment the costume. The only thing I would suggest to anyone who buys is to be prepared to attach an elastic band on the hat to wear under the chin to keep in place. We had a ton of compliments on this costume. "My daughter is a thin but tall 3.5-year-old. I ordered 3T-4T and it looks like a mini skirt on her. There isn't much room for warmer clothes underneath either. I think it's the size of a normal 2T at most. That being said it is still a fun costume and comes with a lot of accessories. It's great in pictures and my daughter looks really cute in it (the fact that it is very short is somewhat offset by the almost knee-high boot covers). I would still recommend this, but just make sure you order one size up."

"My 2 year old niece loves pirates so this was a perfect costume to get and was the cutest pirate costume I found online. When she got it and tried it on she loved it so much we basically had to bribe her get her to take it off. She loves it, it fits well, and is really really adorable. The only bummer was that the hat was a little odd, but i assume it just happened because of the packaging. This is a must buy if your little one wants to dress as a pirate."

"I had seen this costume here online and I fell in love wth it! It has that rustic look that is perfect for my daughter! Although I think it looked smaller than a 3T, it fit great. What I like about it is that the boot tops and the vest fabric feel rough, I'm just putting some leggings on the baby just in case in a little chilly. I can't wait for Halloween!!!"

"I ordered this costume for my daughter's Halloween costume this year and she just loves it. In fact when it first arrived, I tried it on her to make sure it fit and she wouldn't let me take it off! She's the same size as the model shown according to the package, however it is a little short on her. I paired it with some black stockings and put the boot covers on and it looked much better. I can't wait to take her trick or treating this year. She's been working on her pirate "Arrrrrr.....!" So sweet."

"This costume surprised me in that it when my daughter tried it on, it looked JUST as cute as it does in the photo. People stop us all the time to ask where we got it...the boot covers and hat arrived squished out of shape but after being worn a couple of times, they were the right shape. This is costume-grade fabric and construction, but it is SO CUTE. I'm a very happy customer and she's a very happy little pirate. =)"

"My 4 year old is thin, it is hard to find clothes that will fit her because she was so thin. She wanted her and her sister to be pirates this year, so I let her pick out their costumes. She picked this one for herself. I was so worried about the fit, but when she tried it on the day it arrived. It fit perfect, the only adjustment I had to do was add a little more velcro to the belt because she is so tiny she has a tiny waist and the velcro wasn't long enough so I could put it on her. She loves the costume so much, she keeps asking everyone if it is Halloween yet because she wants to put it on again."

"First the good points: This costume is absolutely adorable. My daughter is the cutest little pirate that ever lived. She LOVES the costume. When I tried it on her, she didn't want to take it off at all.
Now the bad points: The size is a little small. My daughter is a very tall two year old. The size is 2T/4T, but if she were any taller this would not fit right at all. Like most costumes, it is a little cheaply constructed. The fabric is very thin and poorly sewn together. She loves playing dress up, and I doubt she will be able to wear this costume more than three or four times before it falls apart. The strap on the boot cover has already broken and I've just had the costume on her once to try it on.
Overall, I would recommend this if you're only buying it for a Halloween costume that your child will wear once or twice, but if you're thinking of keeping it for dress-up purposes, it may not be the best choice."

"This is by far the cutest pirate costume for a little girl that I've seen. However, my daughter is tall (39.5") so the skirt is quite short on her. She'll just have to wearing leggings underneath instead of tights. On the packaging it states that the model in the picture is 36" tall and 30 lbs. It would have been helpful to know that prior to purchasing. All in all, a great costume for the price."

"My daughter loves this costume and WON'T take it off, otherwise I would have returned it for a replacement only because the shirt has black marker on parts of it. She doesn't seem to care though and this is about her so it stays. She is kinda small for being two so I can understand why some things might be big on her but the belt is huge so I'm going to have to find a way to make it work without the velcro, the boot tops are ridiculously large so she won't be wearing them this year and I'm going to have to find some bloomers for her to wear with this as the skirt is quite short. This costume will probably fit her for years though so that's good"

"I was real excited about the costume from the picture shown online. But was very disappointed when I opened the costume and tried it on my daughter. The dress fit her fine, but was a little short on her. The hat was sewn lopsided and would not stay on her head. The boot covers were not made for a size 24-2T. They fit my daughter about a whole foot length too big. I could also wrap the belt around her twice. In my opinion the costume is poorly made."

"My 3 year old wore this at her daycare's Purim Party and at a Party at the mall. She came in 1st place, out of about 80 kids. The costume is great. Great quality. The thing that i liked the best, is that the hat, vest and boot tops are all of the same material. Completes the outfit totally. Instead of a sword, my daughter used a stuffed, colorful parrot as an accessory. No pirate captain would be complete without her trusty tookee."
