"I purchased this as a backup costume just in case my original choice didn't meet my expectations. I loved this one so much that I returned the other costume. The included petticoat is a plus. I am 5'1, 135 lbs with a DD size cup and purchased a Medium. It fit perfectly, true to the size chart and was well made for the price. As in previous reviews, the zipper did bunch a little in the back but not so bad that its a deal breaker. I am thrilled with it... I can't wait until Halloween!!!"

Title: Alps Sweetheart Adult--Best Costume Purchase Ever Date: November 20, 2009
"I purchased the Alps Sweetheart Adult costume for an Octoberfest party and a Halloween party. The fit (medium) was perfect and it looked great. I received a lot of compliments on the costume. I wore it with sheer black hose and high, black boots.

My only other comment is that the puffy slip used to go under the costume's skirt did not reach my waist--I had to wear it around my hips so that the gathered lace puffed out the skirt, similar to the picture. I have an average build, so I am guessing that others may have experienced this as well.

All in all this was the BEST costume that I have ever purchased."

"After first looking around at the costumes stores in our area I wanted to get one I didn't see in the stores. I looked on line and found buycostumes.com and was very happy with all the reviews on the costumes. I ordered 3 weeks before Halloween paid only $1.99 for shipping and my costume arrived in 3 business days. The costume was great quality well made and as described. It was a litttle small in the rib cage area but still fit. Everyone loved it and I had a great time! I took it to the dry cleaner on Monday & they called me to say they are afraid to clean it due to the fabric test that shows it may bleed. I can have it cleaned but they are not responsible so I can have it cleaned at my own risk. Because I take good care of my costumes and want it cleaned I am going to email buy costumes to see what I should do."

"This was very well made - especially for the price. It fit me extremely well, but since I was planning on wearing it to the Disneyworld Halloween party, I sent it back. I ordered another costume from buycostumes.com that appeared to have a little bit longer skirt. I don't think the skirt is too short for normal circumstances (it could have something to do with the fact that I am 5'11"). If I was wearing this to a Halloween party with friends, I would totally go for it, but with all of the kids and family friendly fare at Disney - I decided to err on the side of caution. The website is awesome, and they provide great customer service...I had no problems returning this at all!!!"

"My boyfriend and I went to a Halloween party dressed up at "German Dolls" and our costumes were perfect! Nobody wore the same costume as us, and everyone loved how we looked and wanted to take pictures with us. I'm 5'5" and 125 lb, and the small fit me perfectly. I was so happy this came with a petticoat (usually you have to buy the petticoat separately). The choker was simple but added the perfect touch. I paired with my own fishnets and black boots, and a blond wig from buycostumes. The dress is short, so make sure you wear little shorts or cute undies you don't mind others seeing! The quality of this costume is really fantastic; I danced all night in it, and I never felt like it was going to rip or unravel."

"A very sexy German Girl costume. My sister wore it on the Oktoberfest show on Chanel 11 news with Larry Hoff. The camera loved her in this outfit especially with the big high shiny platform boots she wore. Pair it with a pair of fishnet black stockings and it is quite a site! It is very short so I ordered a medium for her. The top was a little big so we pinned it. An excellent value because the petticoat and choker come with it. A petticoat can run you about $20.00. Good costume"
