Title: Not bad costume boots Date: October 14, 2009
"I purchased these boots for my Mr. Incredible costume, and I was not disappointed. The only downside is that they don't zip up all the way up. But that's a minor complaint. Like the previous posting stated, size down on your normal shoe size because these boots are big. The boots do take some time to get use to, so practice wearing them before you go out to your Halloween party."

"Arrived in 2 days, was good quality for the price. As others said, they run large. I wear a 12 shoe so I ordered the Medium (10-11). Perfect fit and the zipper goes all the way up. Sole does look slick...will have to scuff it up before wearing. Timely delivery also."

"These boots will go great with any super hero that wears black boots. I'm using them with my Mr. Incredible costume and they look awesome. They have a zipper that goes from the heel all the way up the back for easy fitting. One word of caution... The bottoms are very slick! If you are outdoors on pavement it shouldn't be an issue, but indoors on something like a laminate floor... Watch out!"

"They are slightly different than the black superhero boots I bought from them a few years back, but they are much more resilient. The polyurethan really makes the boot tough and they are not at all difficult to walk around in. The only thing I would suggest to buyers is to go a size down from your regular shoe size, since they are sized larger than normal boots."

Title: Look cool, but I'm a little disappointed Date: June 6, 2008
"These boots look really cool, but I'm still a little disappointed. The shank (upright part) of the boot is incredibly narrow. There's no way I can zip them all the way up, and my calves aren't all that big. Also, there is absolutely no tread to the soles of these boots. Just thin, slick, plastic. I'm probably not even going to wear them to the party for which I bought them. And if I did, I'd be sure to attack the soles with some rough grit sandpaper to provide at least a little tread to keep me from falling and busting my tail."

"If you are trying to get an authentic look for a superhero instead of a plastic/cheap version, these boots are nice. Real soles. Run a little large. Easy access with zipper in the back (this is actually sewn quite nicely. don't notice while wearing boots.) they are a good buy for the price.
Got them for my brother and since he is an 8.5, he wore them with a good orthopedic insert. Said they were comfortable enough for a full eve costume party. Dancing and all... Much better looking and more comfortable than "Boot Tops"."
