The chemise is worn under all gowns. A timeless piece, the chemise today is better known as a slip. Chemises were designed to leave less wear and tear on the outer, more expensive garment. Made from soft cotton muslin, it is the same material used to back baby quilts. An elastic, ruffled neck and full, long sleeves allow for a comfortable and individual fit.
