"When I first went to order this costume I read all the reviews and still decided to purchase. Very quickly the costume came and I tried it on..much to my dismay it was not fitting! Yikes, however I called and had a new one on the way, it was mislabeled at the manufacturer not buycostumes.com. I got the new one and it fit perfect! The arms are a bit snug but I had already expected that from reading the other reviews. The quality of this costume is well worth the price and it will stay in my collection as a wear again! I was the wicked witch, my husband my flying monkey (home-made) and my daughters were Glinda and Dorthy. We were a HUGE hit!"

"I got compliments all night about how much I looked like the real witch. I ordered a small(I'm around a size 6) it it was very fitted...hard to get into and out of but looked really good when on. Play it safe if you're not sure and order a size bigger. It's easy to take something in. Defenitly worth the price. Arrived quickly in a nice garmet bag.
My boyfriend was the scarecrow, that was a good costume too, not as high quality but still looked nice. It was one size, he's 6' 200 lbs a plus size would have been better."

"I was soooo excited to recieve my costume, but when I tried it on, or attempted to try it on, I was dissapointed that it doesn't fit. It's not even close to fitting. I bought the medium and am a size 6 and 5'7 so figured I would have lots of room. The one I got fits like an extra small! I can only get it over my head. there is no way to get it on the rest of my body. I'm bummed. the costume looks great in the package, lol. won't do me much good on halloween though."

"I have to say this is the best witch costume to recreate the witch of the west. I was very impressed with the construction of this costume. It is made with beautiful detail even the buttons are decorated. The hat is even well constructed and the sash gave it the little something to keep the costume very authentic. I will wear this costume for every halloween from now on. I cant tell you how excited I was to show it off. I got lots of compliments on how true to the movie the costume was. I recommend this costume to anyone even thinking about being a witch. This year my husband is going to be the witches guard."

Dueling Witches

"This costume was really comfortable to wear. My office dressed as the Wizard of Oz so I had it on all day and then wore it out to Trick or Treat with my Daughter. Originally I bought the more expensive one with the cape but that one didn't fit as well...The neck was larger on that one. The dress I ended up keeping was a little difficult to get on. The sleeves are tight for effect. If they weren't it wouldn't look authentic. I will wear this again and again. However, I am still in need of a good green face paint...one that won't crease."

"I found this costume to run small. I first ordered a medium and had to reorder to an extra large. I found the sleeves run tight and upper bodice small. I am a size 10 with a 36 D bust and could not get into the medium. Customer service was very helpful to assist me with this problem, arrange a return and a prompt order of a larger size. I had many compliments on this costume and would highly recommend it for the quality and workmanship put into thes product.
One negative is the hat on the small size and the felt on the inside tore out when wearing.
I will buy again from buycostumes.com in the future for there customer service."

"My friend ordered a costume 1st. and recommened the web site.....sooooo I gave it a try. The best decision I've ever made when I purchased the Wicked Witch costume. The shipping time was super since it was the week before Halloween. I could not believe the selection or size range for the price and with so many showing in stock and ready to ship that same day.
Friends at the party that I've known for years had no idea who I was and kept asking my husband why I wasn't there. He replied that he had "came with the witch"....but they still didn't figure it out.
I've never had my picture taken so many times and everyone loved the costume and kept asking me about it.
The quality is unbelievable!! and it will still be a hit for years to come.
I can't wait to place my next order!"

"I was surprised to see that this was actually a one piece dress, in the picture it looks like a top and a skirt. The material it's made of is not bad. The fit was a little tight. I wear a 10/12 and bought the large, but it worked out all right. The length is very long. I am 5'4" and had to hem at least 4 inches off the bottom so I didn't keep tripping on it. Overall a very nice costume. I received a lot of compliments on it."

"The costume is great. I ordered a large because of my chest (36DD) and it fits nicely in the bust, a bit loose around the waist, and very long. (I'm 5'3".) With high heel shoes, it will dust the floor without making me trip. The hat is great, with nice structure. If you want fake nails, you should buy some from the drug store as the ones included are bits of plastic that won't fit human nails."

"This costume is the best!! The size is a bit misleading. I originally ordered a large, it was way too big. I am usually a size 10 in ladies dresses, 36dd bust and 30in waist. By previous reviews I felt it better to buy the large just to be on the safe side. I returned the large and got the medium (with the free shipping only came in 3 days). It fits loke a glove, snug but very comfortable. I am only 5'4" and the medium is the perfect length, it just touches the floor. The large was too long. I purchased the witch shoe covers to match, which were only $5.00, and easy to slip over my own comfortable shoes. I recommend this costume to anyone. It's so much fun. By the way the arms are not too tight."

"I am so very pleased with this costume. I like the fact that it came in its own garment bag. The material is fabulous not cheap looking at all. It fit me perfectly. The petticoat underneath adds fullness to the awesome skirt. I am very pleased with the hat and the tulle that came with the hat. The fake black fingernails are so great and will add to the costume come Halloween time. This costume will add to our theme of Wizard of Oz. Hopefully we will win the best theme and costume awards."

"What a wonderful costume! The quality if amazing--could be used in theater. Based on other reviews, I was afraid the costume ran small, so I ordered up a size. The size up is a bit roomy and not at all tight in the arms; I believe I could have fit in my regular size fine. As others mention, the costume's skirt is quite long. I am 5'8", and I will need to wear shoes with heels or have the skirt altered. Still, better too long than too short for a costume meant to have a floor-length skirt. Overall, I recommend this for Wizard of Oz fans--I plan to wear it at my office Halloween party, and my spouse will wear a flying monkey costume for a great couples look."
