Atlantis Queen Plus Adult

The Atlantis Queen reins over the seas. Beautiful water-blue silk-like gown fades to cream on top with gold accents and cut-away flowing sleeves. Finish with a gold leaf laurel headband and this queen really rules. Available in Adult Plus Size (fits 16W-24W). Pair with the Atlantis King for a great couples theme (sold separately).

"I ordered this costume having read the comments and thought it probably wouldn't be that bad around the chest area...Yeah, it was WAY small (I'm a size 18/20 - and it was obscene without my alterations LOL). As you can see from the picture, I took an old bra and glued gold leaves to the top of it so it would match the costume and enhance the look. I got lots of compliments on it (I wore it with the Cara wig - which is totally red and not brown as stated in the description). I also made my own headband and added some peacock feathers to the costume. It's quality is ok - the velcro around the back actually caught on the sleavy thing and made it run like panty hose. The dress was a little long as well - I'm 5'5 and it drug the floor, but at least I could wear flip flops and not have them show. He wore the gladiator costume to match (he loved it)."

"I have a pear-shaped body and am pleased to say this costume didnt accentuate the lower-half at all!! If you are uncomfortable showing ALOT of clevage, I recommend wearing a turquoise tank top underneath. I also recommend a small half-slip as the bottom can be see-through in certain lighting.

My boyfriend wore the gladiator costume. We won a few costume contests for a matching set.

Overall, I was VERY happy with my purchase. I look forward to next Halloween."

"I wanted a Grecian style costume to match my husband since he was Caesar. I found this and went as Aphrodite. i put grpes and flowers at the plunging neckilne (I am too shy to give a daring show) and it was a big hit. This is a versitile costume and I could use it as a "base" for any theme in the future."

"I received an amazing reaction to my costume everyone loved it and I won 3rd place in the costume contest. The fit was very close to what I expected as per my experience with costumes is that most are 2 sizes smaller than normal clothing It was a little long but nothing a quick hemming session couldn't fix."

"This costume made me feel very pretty. What woman doesnt want to feel like a goddess at some point in her life. This is deffidently the costume to help her feel that way. I was very comfortable and very easy to move in. The only problem i had with it is because i am a larger woman i have a very large bust. It was quite tight in that area to the point i had to safety pin it to make sure i did that "fall out". It is very low cut which is not normally a problem but because it was so tight and i have a large bust we were beginning to have some wardrobe malfunctions. Other then that i absoulutely loved it. I would recommend it to others."

"I bought this costume and loved it. My mother and I sewed the arm flaps together for more arm coverage and it worked just great. At the end of the night the bottom teared but I was in a packed place. Highly recommend this!"

"I agree with another poster, I am a 20/22 and I had to let out the seams under the bust and sew the arm panels to the dress to hide the open seams. There is no way this fits up to a 24, if it will not fit me. My friend that is a 16/18 tried it on and it fit perfectly before I let it out.
Once I let out the seams, it looked great and everyone said I defintely stole the show.
So if you are size 18 or under, this will be fabulous for you! If you are larger than that, you'll need to do some sewing before attempting to wear this, so give yourself time for alterations."

"I wear a size 22 from Additionelle, MXM, Sears, and Penningtons. However, I bought this dress in the Plus Size, which is supposed to fit up to a size 24, but it is too small to fit me. I would say that this dress in the plus size would fit up to a size 20, at the most.
While the dress is very nice, it is quite low-cut and a little revealing."

"Overall, I was pleased with the quality of the costume for the price, given how cheap and cheesy a lot of costumes are. From that perspective, I would recommend. However, DO NOT PAY ATTENTION TO THE SIZE RANGE! The idea that this costume fits up to size 24 is absurd--I am a size 20 dress with relatively small breasts for my size (small c cup), and the top of this dress BARELY fits me. I haven't even decided whether I'm going to use it for Halloween, given that I'm spilling out on top. If you are a size 16 or 18 without a large chest, this might be a good choice. Otherwise, keep shopping."
