"Great heavy grade solid plastic, has some give to blade but NOT wobbly at all. Handle is split covering hand and great to tuck into Sash I made for son's costume. For non-sewers go to fabric dept and buy a piece of material that doesn't fray like faux suede or go to store's scarf dept. and get a long scarf with maybe fringe or buy two to tie together and wrap around waist front to back and cross over to come back to front and tie like Jack Sparrow version. Add beads to pirate cutlass or to sash/fringe if you want more detail. ARRRRRGH!"

"This one is a keeper! Most swords are too short or gaudily painted. This goes very well with the Rustic Pirate outfits and color coordinates with the cute tassels. No beads, but still fun and the only thing I'd wish for would be a scabbard to hang it from the waist so it would leave one's hands free. Buy with confidence that this looks good in your hand!"

"I bought this sword to finish off my costume for the Zombie Pub Crawl, it was totally worth it! It's constucted well, not flimsy at all. Perfect size, not bulky or wimpy looking. Like other reviews have said there are no beads on the straps, but it still looks great! Very happy with this purchase!"

"Got the sword for my daughter's Buccaneer Girl Costume. Cool sword. We are going to add beads to the stringers. Just to make it look cool with her costume. Description says beads, however there are no beads, not a big deal. It looks great regardless."

"Very playful, detail so good from a distance it doesn't look anything but real. Up close it looks pirate cool. I saw this at 2 major companies who do consignment store sales and they both charged higher. When it comes with other items you orde, the shipping cost isn't really a factor. I bought two- one for me and the other for hubby."

"For the price, this is a very nice pirate sword. It has scroll work molded on the blade in the plastic, and faux leather binding around the hilt that trails off in fringe. One of the better looking plastic swords I have seen. A must for any pirate costume!"
