"I got a small and knew it would be too big because I'm a size 3, but it was pretty huge. My mom took it in a few inches for me and removed the back bow (didn't care for it. Also doubled the sleeves over to cover the exposed back). It fit pretty good after that, though the top gapped open a lot like some others mentioned. Forgot to get a safety pin to hold it shut so I just wore a low cut blank tank underneath. Overall, I got a ton of compliments on it and everyone loved it. A bit of work to get it right, but sexy once it's done. overall pretty good if you don't mind doing a little work."

"Of coarse this is all a matter of opinion. But the quality really amazing. I make most of my own costumes so that says a lot. There were the few issues some ppl had with it but those are all really quick fixes if you have the time. For those who didn't understand the obi pieces, Wikipedia has instruction on ceremonial obi and different styles, it will self explanatory after that. I do suggest getting a size bigger so you will have plenty of fabric to play with. I got mine a size & a half bigger, I'm just tickled with the extra fabric."

"As everyone else has said, really poor fit if you have any kind of curves at all. If you don't look like the model in this picture there is a good chance this outfit will not fit well. it is Really short.. I do suggest if you do purchase it to wear something underneath. The waist is almost impossible to put on as well. And the backs of the arm cuffs have a really bad looking pattern of bright colors that totally distract from the front. Don't suggest it, returning it today. Wasted lots of money on Shipping but hopefully the next one I get will be better."

"As a mid-sized curvy lady who's recently weaned a baby, I went ahead and ordered a size large to accommodate my larger bust. Wow. Can I say the two halves have NO CHANCE whatsoever of closing at anything less than a foot-and-a-half apart up top? It's a gaping vision of milky skin, and milky probably isn't the word anyone's looking to describe themselves with on Halloween!
$20 later at the fabric store, I came home with several yards of teal and black satin, and will need to sew in a chest flap (side seam to side seam) camisole to be even halfway presentable for neighborhood trick-or-treaters and parents.
I'm also 5'8" tall, and the bottom of this costume ends about 1"-2" *above* my crotch. Given this isn't an image I'm comfortable creating, and that I don't have much need for $1 tips, I'll be using the additional yardage to create an underskirt-- not even of modesty, but necessity. I plan to do a full-length, teal-lined black satin A-line with dual above-the-knee slits on each side (along the lines of buycostume's Teen Dragon Miss's skirt). It probably depends on your own level of curves, comfort, and modesty, but I wouldn't recommend this for anyone over 5'3" - 5'4". Or with anything above a comfy B or small C cup size. Otherwise, you'll either need to invest in pasties, or do some considerable reworking to make this even halfway doable!"

"I loved this costume. It fit well even though I am a bit larger than some girls. I thought it was a little short in the back , however after going out that evening and seeing everyone else's costumes, I did not feel uncomfortable at all. The only thing I did not like is that it had no way to close in the front. To remedy this I just wore a waste cincher on the outside of the costume. But despite this I was very happy with it overall."

"i was super excited to get this in the mail and when it arrived i was not happy. the size was way bigger than it said and i ordered a small. the waist cincher was really hard to put on and didnt tie very well. the bow wan't even a real bow but cloth that you had to scrunch up and fit in the back and it could fall off really easy. the fabric quality was alright but there were strings hanging off the stiching. i am returning this outfit DON'T BUY!"
"I really love this costume, and I think with a few slight modifications I can make it work. The first problem I had for it is that it doesnt stay closed, this problem can be fixed with some hook and eye clasps. The second problem is that the bow on the back doesnt stay stood up. Also it is EXTREMELY short, will have to wear leggings with it to maintain some modesty. Having said that, the material for this costume is lovely, not cheap at all, and contrary to previous reviews, the material on the back of the arm pieces is not so horrible, its just the offside of the material. Overall I like the costume."

"I received this costume a few days ago, but only opened it today. I was very disappointed because of the sleeves, the back of them is unfinished and I'm gonna have to find some fabric to sew on the back because otherwise I'll look like a fool. It looks like they forgot to finish it. Also, it's very very short. A lot shorter than it looks in the picture. I'm gonna have to wear pants to pull it off at work. I'm really surprised because it's not the first costume I buy from this site, but it is the first time that i am disappointed."

"Considering this is a website and you cant really see what you're buying i guess this costume is okay.But i do warn it gives no directions, and no pictures but the one you see here.When i received the costume it had a sash that i had no idea where it went until i looked at the picture.It goes in the back, but then i had a hard time figuring out how to get it to look like the picture.Then the bow doesnt stand up like it does in the picture.All in all its a complicated outfit without buttons to hold it together just a sash and no directions....i give it a five from a scale of one to ten.its just ok."

The back of the sleeves are not doubled though so you see the back of the fabric and i did not like this very much but otherwise it is a nice costume for the price and would recommend it. If you are petite mind you, make sure Small will fit you (i am usually a small and everything else fit aside this peice, the next smaller size is the teenager version) as the belt on this costume was too large and had to alter it to make it small enough for me."
