"This costume was so flimsy-I was afraid to try it on!! I am returning it and buying one of better quality. It is unusual because I have bought costumes from here for several years now-and have never had this sort of problem. It does not fit true to size, the material is thin and itchy, and worst of all the garment at some points is only held together by small velcro circles! Not a good choice! Does NOT look like the picture!"

"This is the 3rd costume I've purchased from this company. Only minor adjustments had to be made. The dress is short but at 5'1" not much of an issue for me. The hat was flimsy so I hot glued it to a different sailor hat and it was a perfect match. The only other thing I did was to tack down the sailor collar. I will definately refer this and my previous purchases to my friends. Just get them early enough to make any adjustments that might be needed."

"I am hoping they sent me the kids version instead of the adult version. It says it fits up to size 14, but it looked miniature when I took it out of the package. It also had a huge rip in the petticoat so if it had been returned by someone else, they never inspected it. I was happy with the other costumes that I ordered, but this was a disappointment."

"I wasn't that happy with this costume, the quality wasn't nearly as good as the others ones I ordered. The petticoat comes undone easily as it is only affixed by 4 spots of velcro and is longer than it should be. The puffy shoulder material easy came apart (ripped) from the dress when I trying it on. I will be sending this one back. Sure glad I have another one to wear."

"Quality of costume is great.Looks exactly like the picture shown. Not really intended for short people. I am 5'1 and the dress just wasn't a good length for me. I would recommend for people 5'3 and up. The petticoat comes undone easily as it is only affixed by 4 spots of velcro, nothing some quick sewing won't fix. Really pretty costume, but i would rather buy one true to size."
"This costume came free with a purchase of another costume last year, so I have not worn it yet. I did try it on andfelt it fit comfortably. The accessories are cute and add to the overall effect. Look forward to wearing this costume this year!"

"I just got this costume in the mail today, and I will admit I was a little nervous, but when I opened it I knew it would be great! I put it on as soon as I got to my house. Here is some helpful information if you are having trouble deciding, I'm 5'5, size 8 and it fit me good, it was slightly loose (in a comfortable way) but there is a tie in the back that you can use to make it tighter. Although I am not super tall the dress isnt too short, it isn't long, but if you want a semi-short, not to trashy length this was perfect for me. The only place that is a little snug, which is always my problem is the bust. I am a large D and the fact that this fit over me is great in itself. If you are smaller though I would probably say maybe 0-4 or 6 I would try to get the junior one so it is a little smaller. I paired mine with red vinyl shoes and the white thigh highs with the bow on top. You will be very satisfied!!!!!!"
