Title: Fenced In Date: November 3, 2007
"These fence posts are neat and add a nice ambiance to a Halloween setting.

I did encounter a problem with the quality of their construction, however. They are not well made and, to assemble them, three pieces must be screwed together.

One of my posts broke immediately when trying to screw it together. It was easily repaired with the universal cure-all -- duct tape -- but watch out when handling them as they cannot stand a lot of rough handling.

Not that I handled them roughly, but they simply won't stand up to much handling at all when putting them together.

They stand nicely and don't require water or sand to stand upright unless you're using them in a location where they're likely to be bumped.

"I did have some trouble with it standing up straight but it gave it a more older creepy look, which turned out nicely. The chains were a little hard to hook together but, for that, they didn't come off so easily! I still use it even after Halloween to keep my kids out of the kitchen!"

Title: Skulls Date: October 31, 2007
"I ordered these skulls to block off a stair case for an adult Halloween party. While they served the purpose in a very decorated way, they were not very sturdy. If mainly used as a decorative feature they are wonderful, but as far as being a real blockage, they were not."

"The plastic used to make the inner support (between the head and base) are very thin and screw into many points. It is here that mine kept bending severely. The base connection point is a joke, considering the posts do not screw into it, but rather poke through then you screw on a cap that resembles a soda bottle cap; this leads to a loose fit, which is a further catalyst for the cheap plastic to bend. Ended up tossing the bases and use tomato planter supports in the ground coupled with zip strips to hold the items upright. Very poor design, though they look alright; if you purchase these just be prepared to do your part to make them work."
