Title: Love It!
Date: October 22, 2009
"I really enjoyed this costume! It's something different than the average short dress you find everywhere else. I will say that I wouldn't recommend this for a tall person though. However, I've been reading everyone else's reviews and I have to say I didn't have half the problems they had. You don't have to be a size 2 to wear this costume and still look good. I'm 5'4'' at 170lbs and the costume looked fine on me...though if you want to keep make your curves look even better buy a body shaper..it works great!!! The shipping was really fast too, only 3 days!!! I'll deff be buying from this site again!!!"

"I wore this costume last halloween and had a blast. I would so recommend this. It was of good quality, the only issue I had was that it is a little short in the torso area, I'm 4'11 and 120lbs and i ordered a small, and I still had wedgies here and there throughout the night, oh and you may have to stuff the hat with cotton to give it some shape, but other than that, nothing too serious, I got compliments the entire night."

Title: Loved it!
Date: September 27, 2009
"I work at GameStop and we were having a midnight release for Batman Arkham Asylum. Harley quinn is my favorite so I bought this and I had great results. I'm usually a large but I had to have it. It was really tight at first but with dieting and exercise I looked great. Head piece was choking me though but my customers loved it and it really got me into the spirit of the game."

Title: Not really correct.
Date: September 18, 2009
"The material this costume is made of is wonderful and the colors are great. That is about where it ends though.
I am a big Batman fan and an even bigger Harley fan. If you want the costume to be exact, you will need to make adjustments. While they did fix the colors, putting the black where it should be, they also "fixed" the head piece, which is supposed to have the red on the right. This one would be probably the hardest to change if your sewing challenged. Also, the arms should be the same color as the top (black on the right, red on the left). It's easy to fix though, just take the arms off and sew them back on the opposite side.
The above reasons are why I gave it 3 stars. As stated the material is of good quality, but the colors just aren't right. I thought the sizing was fine, I am 5'4'' and a medium fits. Hope this helps some out there."

Title: ummm... yeah!
Date: October 28, 2008
"Really liked the product. Just know that if your girlfriend is taller than 5'4" you should probably get a medium. when it is on and you can't move maybe it's too small. she does normally wear a small so it was tricky in purchasing. also, either she lost it somehow or i did not get the hat, gloves, mask, or boot covers with my order:((( pretty unhappy about that. but in spite of it all i like it and i want her to still wear it (esp. for $50!!)"

Title: Detailed Analysis with measurements
Date: October 27, 2008
"First off, sewing does not daunt me - I sew nearly every Halloween costume I buy, including my kid's, and I'm REALLY good at improvised alterations. I finally purchased this costume after playing the "will it fit me" game for a couple of weeks. Here is my attempt to help other women avoid this nightmare, including lots of measurements.
Notes:
I know the package says a Medium is Adult sized 10-14, but in reality, it's TEEN-sized 10-14. Translated: That's a Ladies 6, and a skinny one at that (think bony teenage hips). If you are 5' 6" and can still shop in the Junior department, you should be okay.
The costume is actually a lot better quality than I expected. The diamonds need to be repainted, but the fabric is great, the zipper seems pretty durable and it's ridiculously comfortable. My gloves matched my costume perfectly, although they are small. As reported by others, the seams on the outside of the hat ARE sewn inside-out and the 'ears' need stuffing. The elastic on the mask is too short, the elastic on the collar is too long, and the boot covers look stupid.
But honestly, these things are actually very minimal and easy to fix; as detailed as this assembly-line costume is, you really can't beat a $50 price tag and a little sewing, considering it would cost at least $300 to pull it off in Cosplay quality.
And don't kid yourself - this costume IS form fitting to the nth degree, no matter what size it is. It's like walking around in long underwear, so if you're modest, don't buy it. Also you WILL need special undergarments: a body-shaper to eliminate pantylines and a good push-up bra are an absolute must, and a wig-cap is also essential.
The numbers:
Here is me: I am 5'7", I weigh 127lbs, and my measurements are Chest: 38" (36B), Waist: 29", Hips: 39". I'm pretty little, but I am far from stick-thin; I have a decent-sized butt/legs and I've had a baby.
I am exactly between a Ladies size 6 and size 8, and the Medium fits me pretty well. My inseam is 30" (cr0tch to anklebone) and the costume reaches my ankles with no trouble. If you're very tall or wearing extremely low-topped shoes, you will need properly matched socks.
Not only am I a bit tall, but also what they call long-waisted, and the bodysuit (torso) part of the costume is short. When I buy bodysuit/leotard type items, I have to buy what is often called "long torso" style. My measurement from neck to cr0tch is 31" and the costume, from shoulder to cr0tch, measures about 28 1/2", unstretched. When I put the costume on, it stretches vertically, causing an unflattering overstretched shapeless sack look. (However, to its credit, even at nearly three inches too short in the torso, I bent over to touch my toes and nothing tore, not even the zipper.) I lengthened it with some creative sewing (utilizing the fabric from the boot covers) but it was a complicated fix. If you're long-waisted, can't sew and don't know anyone who does, I don't recommend it.
I repainted the diamonds on the bodysuit with regular old craft paint, one coat on the black ones and 4 coats on the red ones.
Re-sewed the backwards seam on the hat. The 'ears' contain a tiny (worthless) sheet of foam rubber which I removed and replaced with a generous amount of Poly-fill stuffing, then used the foam to seal the stuffing in place. I was actually kind of impressed with the hat, as I have waist-length hair, but it looks real good with a wig cap.
The wristbands are a little loose, but my wrists are a tiny 5 3/4". I sewed the wristbands onto the sleeves to prevent them flopping up and down my arm. Also hemmed the raw edges, as the satin has a tendency to fray.
The gloves are indeed teeny, probably a child's large. I have average hands - my palm is about 3 1/4" across - but really long fingers, 7 1/2" from wrist to the tip of my middle finger. Still, the gloves fit, albeit tightly, and though I'd like them to be longer near the wrist, they do come down past my palms. The black one was sewn rather carelessly around the thumb, but once I re-did the seam properly, I could wear it.
The boot covers look dumb and probably don't fit anything larger than an American Size 7. I bought real shoes before I bought the costume. Knowing I would be using the fabric from the boot covers to 'fix' my bodysuit, I put them on for a laugh over my big ol' Size-9 loafers and wound up breaking half the elastic right away.
The elastic on the mask is too short even for my 10-year-old, but it's easy to replace. The mask itself is also too large for my face and a bit weird looking, but if you want to use it, it's made out of velour with this backing that keeps everything from fraying if trimmed with scissors. Personally I pitched it and made a new one from thin foam board.
Sounds like a lot, but I re-iterate: It's a REALLY elaborate costume and well worth such minor alterations for only fifty bucks."

Title: Okay, Mr. J!
Date: October 14, 2008
"I work in a costume shop and had seen the quality of the other superhero costumes (and their EXTREME variations in size) and was a little worried when I ordered this one that it wouldn't fit. It fits snug but not uncomfortably, and has all the little extras that other costumes would make you pay for - gloves, boot tops, even the little frills that Harley has around her wrists. It looks to be well made and is finally a warm costume for those chilly Halloween nights that is still fun and sexy. I'm so excited to wear this to my Halloween parties (and the costume shop!)"

"Its true, all they say is true. I am 5'4" 110. a small is just a little uncomfortable. Ill start with the jester cap thingy, the seam is inside-out and the points need to be re-filled to stand up straight.... The mask was just way too tight but i had planned on just painting my face anyway. The body suit, well...... it rides a little close and personal if you know what i mean. the seams ripped in a few places but very fixable. the boot tops are actually not attached, but surprisingly they look good if you just tighten the elastic underneath.... the gloves fit a little funny also...
I know I sound really down on the costume, but I actually love it. If you dont mind some touch ups, I suggest this costume. Also they changed the colors around so now the match the cartoon and not this picture!"

"Wore this in 2006. I was so excited to see a Harley Quinn costume but disappointed when it came. Seemed to run small. Very short from neck to cro*tch and rode up uncomfortably. Very tight too - not for self-conscious people! The legs were too short even with the boot covers. The costume also ripped along the sides in a few places.I had to go to the fabric store and buy similar material to extend the legs. If you do buy this, definitely buy a size larger than you think you need. For reference, I was about 5'6" at the time and a size 3, only like 110 pounds and a small was too tight!"

"i had to fix it, it had all sorts of nabs on it, and mis-stitched parts, and the fit wasnt the same, i took a medium because im really skinny but like 5 '9 and it just wasnt big enough for my legs, but once again i fixed it with some good improv skills, the mask was a nuissance so i pitched it and drew one on with makeup which was really good. After all the fixing and tugging and makeup-ing it did in the end look great."

Title: Not worth the price, BUT...
Date: October 7, 2007
"...the jumpsuit is the best piece of the costume, and probably the jester hat headpiece. Although, I had to stuff the headpiece a little more just so the ears stand up better. The other pieces to the costume (eye mask, gloves, wrist ruffles, and white collar) are of very poor quality and material - I had to fix some parts of these myself. I would recommend getting a single red boot and a black boot instead of using the boot covers - they just look kind of cheesy. Overall, this is an okay costume, just don't expect to get grade-A stuff."
