"I purchased this Lincoln hat and beard for an office Halloween party. Compared to other online and local costume retailers, this was by far the best deal I could find. Also, the product arrived 2 days earlier than expected which was a nice bonus.

As stated in other reviews, the hat may have a little trouble staying vertical. I chose not to reinforce it and had to do some periodic adjusting... not a big deal though.

The beard is attached to the hat so you don't have to worry about attaching the beard to your face... convenient. The Average score in quality is because the beard detached from the hat... but that was from wearing this thing for 18 hours and constantly putting the hat on and taking it off. It can easily be glued or sewn back onto the hat.

If you only have to dress like Lincoln once or twice a year, this is a great buy. Overall, this is an excellent product because it met my expectations."

"I actually both this for my 7 yr. old son who wanted to be Abe for Halloween. It worked great even for him. We did hot glue the beard so that it was shorter."

"The hat and beard make a great addition to a costume. Not perfect, but great for the money!!! We reduced the beard and it works great for our 10-yr-old Abe."

Title: It's really cheap

"Imagine the cheapest hat you can then times that by 10. It reminds me of one of the sewing kits you get in middle school. Obviously, the cardboard box it came in is now part of the hat. If you have a small head and don't mind putting in some work this is great."

"Got it on sale, so really loved the price. Fits a little small for a large adult male, but it worked for a short performance. We stuffed the hat with tissue, as it got squashed in shipping. Helped it stand up better."

Title: Too small for most adults, worth exactly $5

"For a five dollar costume piece, you can't expect much. The hat is made of a thin material that doesn't stand up very well on its own, so don't expect it to look nearly as stiff as in the picture. You'll need to put cardboard or something in it to keep it upright. Also, the beard is just a strip of fuzzy black material. Nothing fancy -- but again, it only costs five dollars, so it's not really a bad deal.

My main complaint is the size. The picture makes it seem like it should fit an adult man, but it doesn't come anywhere close to that. An adult woman without much hair, maybe. It's definitely better suited to a child or young teenager."
