"I purchased 12 of these hats for a marching show that my band was doing and 4 of them were non-functional because of flaws in placement of the snaps or poor standard snaps. They are a nice looking hat but one-third were flawed so I guess you are taking a big chance on guaranteeing one that was usable."

"Bought this item for a production of 1776 and wasn't really sure what the quality of the hat would be. I am pleasantly surprised at how good they (I purchased 2) look. The fabric is heavier than most, and they're large enough to look real; not a toy hat or one for children. Adults in a show could wear or carry this hat proudly. Glad I bought it!! Will probably need more, and I'll come back and buy some more."

"This is a great costume piece that goes perfectly with a George Washington or colonial costume. It fits well and is made of good materials for the price.
The three sides connect to the center piece using snaps, which makes this hat remarkably flexible. You can leave any or all of the sides down if you want, which achieves a totally different look. With all three sides down, this hat would work perfectly for a Zorro costume."
