"This costume has a lot of rough tulle/lace to it. The sleeves, however cover the arms well enough that it only becomes a problem with the skirt. I did pick up a lot of leaves and such in the edges of the skirt because of the fabric. That being said, I really enjoyed the effect of the costume. It was a great Halloween this year!"

"I bought this costume 2 years ago. I had a problem with the petticoat but I think that might have been fixed. I took this with me to AR for someone else to wear this year. I bought it in the 3x and the arms were a bit tight but I do have large arms and have a problem finding things to fit. The gal that wore it in AR was about a size 6, we just took a ponytail holder and pulled it tight in the back, she loved it. I had other gals wanting to buy it from me."

"I live in a semi-rural area in australia and am pleased with the delivery time. i ordered it on tuesday and received it the following monday. The red in the costumer isnt like the picture at all, its a deeper red but still looks good. it's true to size although the bust area (for me) is a little big but a pin will fix that. overall very hapy with the purchase n will buy again. Can't wait to wear it this weekend.."

"Crushed panne' (velvet) costumes are my favorite. They're always more flattering than the shiny polyester ones. For the most part, the dress was true-to-size with the exception of the bust. I'm a 45D and the bust was still too big. I solved that problem with a safety pin on either side. The overall quality is fantastic and the lace crinoline's a fun addition! I didn't find it quite as scratchy as others have. I'm 6 ft tall and with the crinoline at my natural waist, it reach all the way to the floor so shorter people will need to hitch it up."

"This dress looks great on. If you are waffling between the plus size and the X-large of the regular adult size...definitely go for the Plus.

I ordered both to try on, and these are very TRUE TO SIZE! If you are on the cusp, go to the larger because the sleeves are very fitted, and will be uncomfy if you go smaller.

The length of the dress comes from the petticoat, so if you are short, you are able to hike the petticoat up a little higher, and the main dress falls nicely.

The cost may seem higher than you'd like to spend, but the costume is really well made and worth the cost. It is a gorgeous gown.

Really happy with this purchase and overall with the purchase experience, the return experience (as noted above I had to return the dress that didn't fit properly), customer service and quality of all shoes and costumes purchased. I will be a repeat customer in future years!!"

"I bought this costume for a my best friend for our big annual halloween party. She fell in love with it the second she saw it on this site and early this month I got it for her. "This was a wonderful buy! After I placed the order I was a little worried about it fitting (I ordered the XXXL) but it fits great and even has some room to spare. The color and the quality are outstanding! The petite coat does itch a bit, but not horribly, so wearing tights or a kind of light weight black pants would be advised. The only thing I would change would be to make sure there is a plus size choker since that doesn't fit me."

"I just received my costume yesterday. After trying it on I was very very pleased with it. The color isn't as vibrant red as in the picture. More of a purple then a true red. But it's still beautiful. The dress itself is very comfortable, but the tulle that you wear underneath is ITCHY! I'm talkin seriously itchy. I will definitley have to wear some sort of tights or something underneath to try and keep it off my skin. Other then that, the chocker was too small. And I don't consider myself to have a particularly big neck. So I'll have to find something else. But that's ok cause I didn't care much for the choker anyways. It has velcro in the back instead of a clasp, so it's not the best.
I can't wait to wear the dress to a costume party coming up. My husband got the matching mens costume and we're gonna rock it!"

"The costume was of great quality and came in a nice protection bag for storage purposes. It's a bit pricey but I keep thinking of it as an investment. I bought the XL size and I am a 16/18, the next size down which is not plus and is suppoused to be for my size would have never fit. Even this one is a little tight in my opinion but other people say that it is fine. I hope this helps....Good Luck!"
