"The costume is AWESOME... I got sooo many compliments and I felt so good in it. One thing, you will need dress tape for your breast... The fabric is great; light, stretch, and you can still dance in it. I was concerned about the breast b/c the pictures I saw of other women in it were not very convincing... I am 5'5' size 2-4 and ordered the small fits perfect very form fitting and sexy. The fabric is very stretchy so you can move around in it. "Overall rating - I wore this costume out on Halloween night in Washington D.C. It was the best costume of the night by far! If attention is what you are seeking, then this costume is perfect for you! I got so many compliments throughout the night and I loved every minute of it! Plus it was comfortable and I didn't even have to wear heels like most other 'sexy' costumes require (I wore wedge-style flip-flops).
Price - Yes, it is a little bit on the pricey side (although it will go down in price over time), but looking back, it was so worth it! I would have rather spent $100 on an awesome UNIQUE costume than $40 on something that is just okay. The mermaid costume also comes with the star headband which was a great accessory and so I didn't have to buy anything else for my costume!
Fun Factor - It was the best costume I have ever worn in my life! It was fun, unique, colorful, sexy (but not trashy), and flattering. So many girls asked me where I had purchased my costume because nobody else had anything like it. Being a beautiful mermaid is something every little girl dreams of becoming and at age 23, I finally fulfilled that dream! Haha.
Fits true to size - The fit of the costume is true to what the sizing chart says, so be sure to follow it. I usually wear a size 8 dress and the medium was a perfect fit for me. Both the tail and body are very fitting (but not too tight), therefore I would recommend this costume to anyone who is VERY comfortable with their body.
Quality - The quality of the materials are pretty good, although I did notice that after wearing it out for a night there are a few stitches that are coming loose (nothing major). Overall, the quality is better than most other costumes I have bought in the past.
I would definitely recommend this costume to anyone who wants to stand-out in the crowd and feel beautiful and sexy! The worst part about this mermaid costume is going to be trying to find something better to wear next year! :)"

"I bought this costume for halloween. It shipped quickly, and was exactly as pictured. The costume itself was very pretty, but the sizing was a little bit off. I ordered an XL, hoping that it would be long enough for me (I am 5'10), but unfortunately it only came to half way down my calf. A mermaid with calves, ankles and feet is a little odd, so I think I will actually return the costume. The shells that cover the breasts are VERY VERY big in the extra large, but im pretty sure they could easily be sewn. Overall, it was beautiful, but if you are over 5'8 or so, it might not be long enough for you."
"I wore this costume for Halloween 2007. I was nervous when ordering because I am a naturally busty woman and have difficulty finding costumes that fit my bust so I ordered the XL. I was amazed that the bust fit but I did have to get the costume taken in from the hips down since I am very narrow on that part of my body. I won a costume contest at one of the clubs I went to and the cash prize reimbursed me for the alteration I had to get done. I am 5'2" 150 lbs wear a 38F bra so I can assure you if you are busty the top will cover you nicely if you don't mind showing some cleavage! Now if you are busty and want more coverage, this costume is not for you."

I did notice however that by the end of the night my cleavage area was starting to show a bit more....I recommend wearing a clear bra if possible, otherwise it held up pretty well.
