"I purchased this costume in part because of the reviews on buycostumes.com. I agree that it is made very well, unlike the cheap shiny fabric that a lot of costumes are made from. The fit was good too, sometimes these can run a little bit small and I had no problems at all.

This is definitely a costume that I know I will be able to wear again. I got quite a few compliments on the way it looked as well.

You definitely need the hat and sword, etc. for people to know that you are a pirate wench though. Shipped very quickly! Very happy with this costume!"

"I am 5' 10" about 135 lbs, and wear a 36C, So I was skeptical about buying a costume off the internet.. I ordered a medium. When I received it I tried it on and was VERY impressed.. I ordered the Boots to go with and That was a BIG mistake! They looked great, but hurt SO bad I took them off after only 40 min.. would have been sooner but I was stuck at a table. ( BlackJack Dealer) Other than that.. The costume looked great.. It was a little tight so when I couldn't really stretch my arms out and bend (ie. picking up my kids) or the back stitchin sounded like it would pop.. But I totally recommend this costume!"

"This costume was great fun, fits true to size and doesn't run small like some other costumes. It was very comfy the only thing i would say is that i agree with the previous reviews that the black staps fall down alot but you can easily alter them. The accesories definetly make the outfit, i found a pirate hat almost identical for half the price at my local costume store. Had a great time in this outfit! Will be back next year"

"Watch out! My Secret brand deoderant caused permanent under arm stains!! I just use the regular deoderant, and it caused severe discoloration!! The stains are so bad I am not able to wear this otherwise perfect costume again. However, the costume was very cute and I received numerous compliments on it."

"This was my first purchase from this site and i was a little worried about ordering the right size. So i went with an XL because i'm a full figure girl. "It fit really well (true to size). I bought the hat, and boots as well. I received a lot of compliments on it. Very sexy and a lot of fun to wear...I even wore the hat all night. Loved it! I purchased a long, blonde wig, petticoat, and the (large hole) fishnet stockings later (at another store). I didn't know I wanted all of the extras at the time that I ordered. Should have bought it all together (with the coupons you get from Buycostumes...I would have saved more money purchasing everything from them. They shipped really fast, too! Would definitely buy from them again."

"So I haven't worn it for Halloween yet, but I am SO EXCITED!!! I have my own boots and I bought the large fishnets at Hot Topic for $8, and I tried on the hat at Pierre Silber but it is all boxy and shaped differently in real life. I think if I wore the hat I'd be bonking my boyfriend with it all night, (on accident of course!)

So yeah, I got a small, and mostly I can only fit into XSmalls, but this fit perfect. The only 2 things are: 1) the black straps on the shoulders keep falling down, and the black velvet in the back is weirdly long so it hangs a bit over the petticoat and I don't like that so I'm going to trim it.

I'll probably do 2 braids or some bandana/headband of sort and wear my skull necklace... sooo excited :)"

"I wore this costume last year and absolutely loved it! It fit perfectly! I am 5'9 and 135lbs, normally I have a hard time finding costumes that are long enough, but this one was just perfect, especially with the petticoat under it! (I got the S/M) It was not too short and not too long. Very sexy and cute!! I would recommend this to anyone! In fact, my friend is borrowing it to wear this year for Halloween! Definitely worth the money, and would definitely wear it again!"
