"I've always wanted to dress up as Cleopatra, but never have wanted to spend the money on an expensive costume. This costume was very reasonably priced and definitely worth the money. I received countless compliments about how "authentic," "beautiful," "cute," and "awesome" I looked. On Halloween night, I met three other women dressed as Cleopatra, and everyone agreed my costume was by far the best. The only negative thing I'd have to say about the dress was that the zipper stuck out along my back, but thankfully the waste band hid it. Also, you have to wear a slip underneath, as the slits reveals way too much. If you want to dress up as Cleopatra, this is the costume you should buy! (Note: I did not wear the headpiece that comes with the outfit.)"

"My boyfriend and I went as Cleopatra and Marc Antony for Halloween this year. This Cleopatra costume is gorgeous. It is true to size; I am about 5'11" and a size 10 and the M/L fit me well. The chest ideally fits a B/C cup; I am a B and had to take it in a tiny bit on the sides. The accessories are very pretty as well. I chose to borrow a different collar from a friend, but other than that the only other items that didn't come with the costume were the snake arm band and shoes. This costume got me tons of compliments and it held up the whole night - no wardrobe malfunctions!"

"It is a gorgeous costume but I think you need to be more medium than large for this gown. I am nearly 5'9" and after reading the other reviews listed for this product, I was prepared to wear a slip under the gown. The slit came up WAY high but I was aware of that. There was also a good three or four inches of material sitting on the floor about my feet, so buyers who are shorter, be ready to hem it! If you're bigger than a B or C cup, this is not the dress for you. I was hoping that I could manage in the top but I could not even get the zipper all the way up! Even if I could have, I would have been risking a real wardrobe malfunction. Otherwise, everything else with the costume was gorgeous, which is why I wanted this one instead of the others I have seen. If you want to look like a classic beauty (and willing to make some compromises with the gown) than this is so for you!"

"while this item looked great in the picture, in real life it covers very little. I could hardly zip the zipper shut (I'm only a size 8). The slit on the dress goes all the way to the bust and the dress is actually more like a sarong. I would have had to use tape to keep it shut. Great quality but be prepared to make a few adjustments."

"Okay, so this is the real deal. The s/m is a true size 4. It fits me like a glove. (Really a small-I am 5'3) I wear a 34 C and it is almost too small on top. I can't wear a bra with it, and it is SEE THROUGH!! I had to have bra cups sewn in. The slit is so high that you can see my underwear, and I will have to wear something underneath it. There is not enough material at the hips to sew it or tack it together. The cuffs nearly fell off my wrists. Had to have them altered as well. On the plus side, it is very pretty, well made and the headpiece is really nice. The dress is sexy, but you do not feel like you need to wear it only indoors. It is cheaper here than other sites including Ebay."

"From the 2 other reviews on here, I totally agree with what the 2 other ladies said. The dress is quite see through and the opening of the slit is VERY high- to the point where my underwear is exposed when I walk. I bought the medium/large size as I am regularly a size 8 and this outfit fits nicely although a bit big on the bust area (I wear 34B in bras). I am 5'10" tall and the outfit touches and drags on the floor...luckily my mom knows how to alter clothes. As for the beadings, they are awesome and make the outfit rich looking. The head piece is fabulous too. I don't think of my head really big but the head piece fits a bit snug and as a result, I won't be able to wear a black wig. In the end it doesn't matter as the headpiece and the beads make the outfit!!! Can't wait to wear it in a few weeks!"

"overall the costume was great and i recieved compliments all night. material is slightly thin and see through but no more than would be expected with a fancy dress costume. however the zip is quite poor quality. i found the headpiece abit uncomfortable but it looked fanastic and was of high quality. as has been mentioned before the metal ring to hold the dress up is uncomfortable however i just used the enclosed gold material shown as the belt. sizing is slightly small but i think that may be because i am quite large, definately small cup size however it did just make the costume more sexy! also as i am bigger i added an underskirt to cover more of my legs but this was very easy to find and wont be necessary for most people colours and bead work were fantastic which really makes the costume stand out from the crowd!"

"I purchased this costume for a Toga Party. I wanted to be beautiful, sexy and a true Goddess. This costume made me All of That. I was turning heads all night. The overall quality of the costume was good for the price. It came with all the accessories which was Great! Sizing was okay, I purchased a large even though I wear a mediums. I wouldn’t suggest purchasing this costume if you are larger than a 36 DD. The material does not stretch at all. Also, being only 5”2 the dress was very long even though I had on 4 inch heels. The split in the front is very high. I purchased footless tights to wear underneath. The neck closer was a little uncomfortable, but this Cleopatra costume was definitely a winner. Sunshine"

"Very happy with this costume, beautifully made, no worries of it coming to pieces through the night. I had previously read the reviews on it which I found very helpful, particularly about the neck fastening, when I received it I realised what the other people meant, but I was forewarned so I exchanged the metal ring for a piece of gold rope tied in a bow and it worked a treat. I felt lovely and got quite a few comments.The split was quite high in the front, but just bought a pair of lacey shorts to keep my dignity!"

"Thought the costume was beautiful but when I put it on the front slit came up past my underwear had to wear a white skirt underneath to cover everything, also the wire neck piece was very uncomfortable and kept coming undone all night I wouldn't recommend this to anyone unless they were avg. height like 5'6 or 5'7 I am 5'9 so I feel I was a little too tall for the costume."

"This costume is excellent. Its comfortable, fits great, comes complete with nice accessories, and is really lovely. The only issue I have is with the neckpiece, which comes undone, but it can easily be fixed with a pair of pliers. Overall, one of my absolute favorite costumes!"

"I didn't see too many people with this outfit so it was alot of fun to wear and looked great on. Only problem is that there are alot of different things going on with the outfit. Example, there is a metal hoop that is underneath the neckpiece and it hooks behind your neck. Very uncomfortable and it kept on unhooking throughout the night. You can always tie it together with string and it will hold. Also, my chest is a size A so you really have to stuff it for the chest area to fit - chest is more like a size C."
