"I bought this just for the shield to complete my son's knight costume. It is very small but perfect for a 4-5 year old. The sword is very flimsy and won't be used. The shield seems durable enough and all we needed."

Title: Perfect Kid's Knight Set!

"My 4 year old son saw a knight costume at a local retailer and decided that he had to have "that" one, even though it didn't come with a sword or shield, which we definitely needed to go with it! I looked locally but everything I found was either too large or too obviously cheap plastic. This set is perfect. It looks more realistic, and size is perfect. It doesn't say in the description, but this is a kids' size set-I was afraid it would turn out to be adult size since it didn't say but thought it would be worth a try at this price. It will be perfect for my son, I would say it would be the right size for a 3-12 year old depending on their size. The pieces look very nice and they are well put together, they don't look like the super-cheap plastic toys I found in retailers and party stores nearby. The sword seems a little flimsier than the shield, but will be fine for their intended use. My son wants to play with them but I don't know how well the sword would hold up being banged against stuff, so I'm hiding them till Halloween, then if he plays rough and tears them up it doesn't matter. And they were inexpensive, great price for the quality and appearance of this set. I would buy again and shop this site in the future!"

"Really nice quality plastic sword and shield, not flimsy, excellent detailing, and a perfect match for the "heir to the throne' costume we bought here. I know you could probably get a cheaper version but the quality really matched up with the price."
