The frosted rotating dome casts shadows on surrounding surfaces. Light is switch-activated, is battery operated and takes 2 - "C" batteries (not included). Light is approximately 8" wide x 6" tall. Includes 1 extra bulb inside the battery housing. Please Note: Unit does make a small noise when in use and is more suited for smaller spaces.

"I thought this would be great to create a fun/ spooky atmosphere in a entry way for tricker treater but the light is so weak that the shadow it casts is only good in very small spaces (e.g power room)"
"Very disappointed that the image was doubled. Nowhere near as clear as in pic...couldn't make out anything. Maybe just got defective one but company took it back no problem."

"I really liked this and was so excited to get it but you need to have a ton of wall space to use it. its cool if you can get it up close to the celing. I even thought of hanging it upside down so that the pattern could be on the floor but it can't turn if its upside down. It does make some what of a noise when it turns, i dont think its too bad though if you have music on you are not going to hear it much. mainly what i don't is that the pictures do not come out clear enough, it takes alot of space to run it. It also uses a 9 volt and can drain the battery in about 3 hrs. I would not use this for party with older people but i would recomind it for childern 3-12 i think it would be real fun in a bed room or a tv room for them. I think kids would be totally thrilled with this product."

"THIS WAS VERY COOL, IT DOESN'T PUT OFF ENOUGH LIGHT BUT A SMALL DIM LIGHT IN THE BACK GROUND YOU CAN STILL SEE IT. IT DOES MAKE A SMALL NOISE BUT, I BOUGHT IT FOR MY PARTY AND THE MUSIC IS PRETTY LOUD SO IT DIDN'T BOTHER ANYONE. VERY CUTE"
