"My husband insisted he was not wearing this costume, until it arrived and we put it on him! The fit is great! He ordered a Large and he has plenty of room. My husband is a tall man 6'1 225lb. The whole costume fit great, right down to the crown. Now he just wants me to find a lightening rod ceptor???! Back to shopping. Will post a picture!"

"We had an ancient Greek themed informal awards ceremony for our office. Our Regional Vice President agreed to wear the Zeus costume as "Kings of the Gods". The costume was great and him in it was even better. The item shipped promptly and was delivered when promised. The costume is good quality and had more detail then it visible in the photos online."

"Overall I am pleased with the costume, except the crown is made of the same rubber like material the chest plate and gauntlets are. So, it's one flimsy/flexible crown but still would work if you are on a budget. The chest piece and gauntlets are adjustable, as they come with some nice gold ties to secure them with. The robe has plenty of room in it if you wanted to wear clothes underneath (I dang sure ain't going commando). The robe also has an elastic band sewn into the middle of it, I assume to go around your waist, but doesn't quite get there on me hehe. It sits upon my lower stomach, which isn't much of a problem at all. Other than what I've said so far, all you have to buy to go with it are some roman sandals and perhaps a beard for the full look. I'm also making a lightning bolt to carry around, JUST for the sake of coolness and completion."

"this was for my fiance and the medium was too large and he is not a small man. the toga part was a little large, but the crown was extremely large. he could not wear it at all. it fell around his neck. the chest plate and wrist guards are made of a type of rubber so they made you sweat, although the rubber is muc better than the cheap made plastic. the overall look is nice, but for the price was a little disappointed."

"I bought this costume for my husband, and it is nice and long, and the plastic/rubber isn't hard, so it won't crack in cold weather and isn't uncomfortable. The left arm is missing the detailing around the edge. Overall it's a nice costume."

"One of the more fun Zeus adult costumes I have purchased in a long time. The under garmet (robe) is super comfortable and form fitting...also leaves a lot of room to wear other clothes under in case of chilly weather...or not so much clothing for the more natural feeling people. It is perfectly accented by the adjustable chest plate and arm bands. All topped of with a adjustable crown and sash. They really took the time to put just the right amount of detail into all aspect of this costume adding in the lighting bolts, which Zeus is well known for. So you won't be walking around getting mistaken for Julius Ceaser. All in all I have to say I am excited to dress up for halloween this year all thanks to the staff at BuyCostumes.com
