"The buttons on this costume are hot-glued onto the fabric instead of being sewn on, so they fall off. When the package arrived in the mail, I opened it up and saw through the plastic that two buttons were already at the bottom of the bag, having fallen off the uniform. When I took the costume out of the bag, another button fell off. Since there are so many buttons on this thing, the person wearing the costume would most likely lose all his buttons by the end of one wearing. For $75, one would think that the buttons would be sewed on. I am returning this costume and looking for one of better quality. Customer service has been great, and prior products have been fine, but this item is not up to buycostume's standard."

"I'm 5'7" and i fit nicely in the jacket. I did not wear the pants becuse they didn't have any pockets, and I would have had to pull them up too far under the jacket to make it practical. I was out on the town, any I even recieved a couple of salutes from passes by.

Fun costume if you like History."

Title: nice quality costume

"This is a really nice costume, very good value. It is made from good heavy weight fabric, with nice velvet trim, not that horrible cheap shiny stuff you usually get with halloween costumes. Sizes run really big though - my husband is 6'1", 200lbs and the Large was ridiculously huge. Changed it for a Medium and it is perfect."
